@AngryFrog can you explain what your approaches to eods this game has been? To me it feels like you haven’t been that invested in resolving whichever is the leading wagon at the time, and i want to hear your thoughts to clarify that

can we really think about why snow claimed to jail kiiruma instead of tutuu
if they had just said they jailed 22, it would have made perfect sense bc 22 was townread w/ the hippo pelt
but they said they jailed kii bc kii was sus; what does this tell us
the previaling theory is that mafia rolecopped kii but wouldn’t you rather rb someone who is claiming some sort of strong power role than someone you have no info about pr role wise
so in some sense i think there is a very strong argument to be made for kii and 22 having one mafia in them

In answer to your question;
EoD 1 I wanted to leave hippo alive in case they and frosty were just extremely dysfunctional masons as I have seen that exact thing happen before. FMPOV there was reason to be skeptical of Hippo’s claim but they had already claimed and thus locked into it and always forced to explain why they are still alive if they don’t NKed. I thought it was +EV to counterwagon based on that logic. It’s possible if I were around for the claim or were better reading Hippo then my PoV would change and it would no longer be +EV to vote a counterwagon.
EoD 2 was a misplay as I should have voted snow because they fit the profile of a busser slot and I thought tutuu could be resolved later. The main reason I didn’t do it at the very end was because I had no clue wtf was going on with the wagons other than that we all seemed to be looking for a busser which was my priority. I recall I was answering frosty’s Qs when the day ended and it caught me off guard. A secondary reason why I didn’t run up snow in general is because they said it was their first forum game and I wanted it to be a good experience so I was biased against voting there. That’s pretty much it as far as I can tell.
FWIW if this helps at all there is a difference between the two slots (hippo and snow) wrt how I personally felt about them. I did have pings deep down that snow could be scum struggling to emulate something which doesn’t exist (their town!snow forum gameplay) and I didn’t prioritize those pings as deep down I also wanted them to have a good experience. Wrt Hippo deep down they pinged me as town and I intentionally held back on defending them as much as I otherwise would because I suspected based on my prior experience with scum!hippo that my intution is <rand wrt them specifically and not to be trusted.
