Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Mafia - Night 1 [16/17]

I think you are a flailing wolf who’s representing frustration at me as if you were speaking to a villager. I don’t think you have a believable perspective that you genuinely suspect me. You say “we are getting nothing done”, while also claiming I’m being actively wolfy. If you were a villager, I think you would have believed there is plenty of being done, such as “tutuu is being wolfy itt”, and then you would have attempted to push me, rather than plead to me to not push you

I’m not supposed to be on my phone right now cry, tutuuposting also warmed me back up to him a bit even if I’m not entirely convinced. willing to buy you’re town at the moment for the plea

im rather defensive by nature. see prior games

this can’t be real the easy solve is never real

Wait til I show up I help w/ the boredom

ok bye

My read on them primarily comes from their activity and intent to solve. I’m aware this is not the best way to read people, but thats what I have rn

I suspect that they made a claim to pocket people / dissuade town invest from visiting them. It wasn’t a WIFOM claim of an attempt to claim their actual role, because it’s not their actual role, because they claimed an impossible role

I’ve seen it be real sometimes and it’s always funny but it’s not worth solving around because in every one of those cases I saw the town just shrugged and finished them off eventually

i don’t actually think that’s unusual, a lot of people get into stuff via mechanics-heavy games, i think ~probably that is the bigger audience, the people who are interested in forums and heavily dissecting the semantics of every post is a pretty niche group. this would definitely be an intimidating game to have as your first, given it’s fairly chatty and there’s a decent amount of insider-y meta discussions which can be alienating.

but, like, when you’re new no one will expect you to be perfect, just talk about whatever comes to mind for you because that’s the only way people to have to read you.

(MS is a homesite of sorts for me, if you’re still interested there i can probably help you with getting your account registered there. it has its own flaws and quirks but the slower paced games can be a much easier introduction)

lmao

this is somehow your towniest post

Yeah what Eve said ^^

@snow

I made a jump between livechat mafia to forum mafia after I went “hey let’s try mafia again that sounds fun” and typed in epicmafia DOT com and got jump scared when i saw what came up. The different format changes a bunch of tells which makes it harder but you still have insight and can make good takes. Also regardless it will make it easier to find you the more transparent you are so it’s worth sharing your thoughts, even very speculative ones.

I did not realize that would hyperlink. I personally am not gonna click that even though it’s probably OK. We are given edit powers here so I’ll take it out if that’s not against the rules.

it’s fine, idk what the deal is with epicmafia since it’s a weird ass zombie site now with no one actually on it and most of the functionality is borked but it’s not a phishing site or anything

Ok I saw someone else made an edit so I took out the epicmafia hyperlink

edits are legal here as long as it’s to correct typos rather than edit out content (i think edit history is visible? and mods can def see it but basically don’t use it to cheat)

I’m guessing it has a murder-house vibe where very few people would want to invest in it even if they can get a good deal.
