You’re asking me specifics and I don’t have much when it comes to townreading you.
I just have more reasons when it comes to scumreading Gorta.
I feel like looking at NKA I can see Gorta fitting into the team better than you.
Gorta fits into the team also as a somewhat deepwolf who’s been able to go ‘derp I didn’t do my action’ which could even just be true (but if gorta is a wolf then their team would’ve done it anyway, meaning gorta gets some cred and let’s be honest, gorta had to say they didn’t do a N1 or we would’ve all turned to look at them)
Reads wise, it feels like Gorta has been trying to get Wind out over the other wolves including the day I got commuted away from the thread. Keeping in mind the fact that I had been defending Wind (partially due to the fact that I just wanted to be right and I wanted my invention to be in good hands)
Also the N3 no-kill feels like a tree. And Universal wasn’t that active whereas you were.

The one big thing I just thought from the commute is, perhaps the idea was for it to double kill me and Leetic (or the plan was to kill 1 of us at least)
At the time of going into D3 we were at 6v3(?)
If they planned on us just dying then they would’ve forced a LyLo that early.
And it had the added benefit of giving us just an echo chamber and one which made me paranoid.
Perhaps they tried to have it interpreted as that, but it wasn’t allowed because it might push game past LyLo? (Since the wagons were close, we almost lost Wind (and that could be reasonably foreseen as a possibility)) Or Geyde just interpreted as us seeming like we died and were just gone from thread just like in the SCP FM thing

That would mean they’re town in that case, I don’t think a mafia ever writes an article about vests in the first place without targeting someone specifically, so if its a derp than they’re town bc it was an accident town can make.

Gorta spent the whole of D1 complaining that nobody was posting content
but instead of helping to create content or even saying that the people fluffing around in the thread were wolfy or whatever, he didn’t make a read and continued to complain, and ended the day without any reads except that he liked leetic trying to push the thread in a productive direction, then that shark and i also look slightly better for doing stuff (we mostly fluffed, i started doing stuff very late in the day, and shark continued to do nothing i guess)
my expectation for gorta is generally he wouldn’t complain about the lack of content, but that as a wolf he would probably try a bit harder to push the thread into doing things instead of continuing to complain repeatedly because he’d be more conscious of looking bad for doing exactly what he was complaining about
voting sleep is nonetheless a weird choice, but considering that basically everything on D1 was a vanity wagon or a self-pres, it’s not the worst

maybe the logical conclusion really is that a mafia would commute out two town if they thought it put them closer to hammering majority, considering this is the day we chose to hammer (but on Shark so rip mafia)

what i’m gaining from this is that Uni was already setting me up to be paired with Sharklifter, someone we know already flipped wolf
he was also setting Leetic up to be paired with Sharklifter, so similar treatment because we were both being vocal when we were in the thread
Uni is much more interested in my slot, notably, when leetic is not in the thread because of the commute
not sure why leetic and I are listed as interchangeable while YBW gets a separate entry for himself and Shark does as well
kinda weird since it implies Uni wants to push both leetic and me but see which one sticks better and push it
note that last part where Uni says he picked these names from their interactions with each other, but then says he didn’t ISO on Shark, a full ISO on me, or on YBW and yet he pairs Shark with me, pairs Shark with leetic, and pairs YBW with leetic and me
he isn’t pairing YBW with Shark and in fact says nothing about whether he thinks YBW makes sense with leetic and Shark as a team even though it clearly looks like he’s trying to imply they’re a plausible team
so if we break this down into the basic idea Uni is conveying, as a wolf (ignoring things that aren’t interaction-based):

Leetic agreeing with Shark

Shark agreeing with Wind

what does a wolf say about their partners in an effort to distance from them without bussing them? I would guess that’s the type of wolf Uni likes to be, because he completely avoided bussing Shark despite how incredibly bad it made him look. Probably also because Shark was the mafia diet and being a potato, but Uni didn’t come back to “change his mind” and hammer Shark; he kept insisting he wanted me dead instead. So Uni would rather keep his team intact than score individual towncred by bussing.
Uni also had a very aggressive push on me as well as leetic - two townies - which makes me suspect either he was only soft-pushing a partner or he was just not pushing them whatsoever
he didn’t mention Kiiruma, Gorta, Dum or Eli at all in this post. We know Dum and Eli were town and there was basically no way the wolves could’ve engineered a wagon on either of them at the time because it wasn’t deepwolf paranoia time yet.
I’m going to look for his Gorta and Kiiruma reads in a second but I want to come back to Gorta specifically on how Uni interacted with him on D3 since that’s what caught my attention.
first set here I know for a fact has been rule-of-three’d, probably unintentionally by Uni
second set here contains one scum guaranteed
third set contains two town guaranteed fmpov
i want to hazard a guess and say that even if Uni didn’t mean to rule-of-three the first group he listed, he probably would not have wanted to list a team that ever contained more than one of his teammates because there would be a guaranteed wolf in all three of these, and if town decided to buy the leetic/YBW/Shark team and YBW was a wolf, the entire team would be destroyed
wolves tend to pay more attention to where they list their scummates than where they list town members
also this proves that Uni never completely implied leetic and I were interchangeable since I got swapped out for YBW in the second list
he’s probably just swapping around villagers
so Uni is pushing a villager for a bad vote and increasingly bad plays (presumably more of my bad votes that coincide neatly with what his scum teammate is doing, so he knows it’s a valid reason to push me in case Shark ever flips)
distances from his teammate based on his interaction with the two strong villagers he’s trying to push (I haven’t been strong in this game, but i’ve been loud, so you get the point)
says his teammate is scummy for how he interacts around leetic/me
so really he isn’t pointing out anything scummy that Shark is doing
this probably implies that whoever the other wolf is, he’s avoiding pointing out actually scummy things because he doesn’t want anyone to catch on
so now we really know Uni would never pick on scummy things leetic did if they were partnered
too bad i didn’t know until now
this last quote was in reply to dum asking if uni is suggesting that hanging kiiruma would be better than leetic
basically what uni has to say on kiiruma is that somehow he never noticed the inventor claim, and then that he doesn’t think leetic encouraging activity is enough to make them towny
note that he’s trying to dismiss reasons to townread leetic here. let’s see if he does it to anyone else who’s currently alive now.

i think this next sequence is earlier in the thread cause i jumped to a quote that caught my attention:

and in the first place, the way YBW is asking Uni if he ever refuted the post YBW made, that’s also not something I see scum doing because it puts a large amount of pressure on their partner, and not only does their partner need to be confident enough to pull it off as theatre, but the one doing the pressuring has to keep it up and not just drop the pressure halfway through.
so we know this:
- Uni is performative as scum
- Uni OMGUSes as scum
- Uni will discredit ways to townread a townie as scum
- Uni will distance from his partner by tying his partner to a townie, but not by pointing out scummy things his partner has done
Summary so far: Uni is very reactive and performative, but avoids bussing at all costs
YBW is clear as far as I can see from this

I do want to see if Uni ever votes YBW, I don’t think he does, but I don’t think Uni votes anyone besides leetic and me anyway so he probably outright avoided voting most people
but if you don’t think Gorta’s generic-as-fuck “vests” stopped all of the kills that night, what did?
everyone else claimed their actions and I know my merc shield on Dum wasn’t activated because I was activated last night instead.
