Scum didn’t really do much with their actions so it balances out
PyMM
In that game scum are on back foot because town has way too many actions and scum have basically no counterplay
Funny how the two people I voted D1 turned out to be scum
Maybe I should trust my D1 reads more
Scum having some level of control is therefore optimal
I mean the game obviously requires Some Amount of host genie-ing because otherwise town can, like, write an article about a list of all members of the mafia, and no other players, being publicly published at the start of the next day
but no one really did that this game so
sorc moment
Well duh but it requires less

fair
I would agree if it weren’t for the fact that I also do this to align my actual town plays. I know meta-reading can be a big contributor to reading slots so I prefer to play games in a manner where regardless of alignment people have to read me using my thought progression and how I advance the game rather than “I feel like X”. Also my biggest issue has to be with how people spun my arguments around. Just because town has a chance of acting the way Leetic did is not a good enough reason for why they should be excused for their actions. We literally voted Sharklifter off due to us agreeing it wasn’t a good enough excuse calling them newbtown. Another thing is how Dum took credit for the lynching when I was the one who began to call out Sharklifter for being suspicious. I only voted Wind over Shark because even that’s a no-brainer. Vote a slot that has been actively leading town off a cliff and has plenty of scum-like characteristics or vote a slot whose defense is non-existent because they aren’t there? And then I get scumread for not voting Wind. Its like I was getting the backlash for every read gone wrong and none of the rewards for getting other reads right.
Inspiration for final post
the funny thing is i would probably say this and probably also said it after
this is the way
am i embarrassing you yet
should i stop reading your articles
D:
My favorite articles by far were from ybw
The SCP ones were fun though
hydra games
i felt like I was casting a magic spell every time i wrote an article
That’s what enraged me the most. And then I got scumread for being frustrated with the game as if its something exclusively scum. I have raged only one other time in a game and that was years ago where I was put in a similar position and I was town.
This entire game just displayed to me the issues with town and mafia. You can have clear thought progression, you can advance the game, you can provide evidence and reasoning, but you’ll still get thrown out the window because someone’s feelings are more important than empirical evidence.
I just decided to do danganronpa because that’s my jam
Plus I basically never creative write so I had to go with something vaguely familiar.
