Hopefully daeron and leafia haven’t forgotten about this game
the voices in my head… the voices
Imma also give ash a townread if any of those roles pop up in this game
ash tentatively wolf
meow also town
sorry this convicts you to being the n1 kill
for their response to jason’s reads wallpost
marluna is definitely telling the truth about having the spec chat ability
but I am not sure about the whole town traitor thing
VOTE: Ash
I think willow is town
progression looks normal, vote on marluna is fine and the post they made about suspecting there’d be no spec chat role would be somewhat dangerous to make as scum
looks to have been made from an uninformed perspective
I think hazard is town on skim
finding mech analysis townreadable is a very common trap
it is not a ‘good sign’, it’s NAI at best and scum AI at worst because as I say, it can make your ISO and yourself look productive without actually doing very much (mafia’s MO)
especially when you’re dealing with very wide hypothetical mech analysis like ash is by considering all roles possible
(doesn’t make sense because I had rewrote the posts and forgot to rephrase this)
fwiw ash’s comment on marluna isn’t a problem; but their treatment of meow and willow’s slots is incredibly wolfy and the issue I take with
it feels agenda’d and if Ash flips W then meow and willow are pretty much spewed V imo
gummy not LAMISTing immediately in thread looks bad and is distant from their town meta
yes I am condemned to wolfread gummy SoD1 every game I am in with them, I suppose
but even if they’re town I’ll end up finding it out later because they’ve made it obvious the last two times so
also tentative is not accurate after reading their response to jason again I’m quite confident in just saying ‘wolfread’
How so? I’m saying that Jason’s argument for townleaning them is faulty given that it’s something I’ve done as mafia to fake credibility without actually doing anything. It’s something coming from my own experience with the game.
I’m not trying to use it as a substitute for creating a wolf case on either meow or Willow - I townlean meow independent of Jason’s analysis - I’m saying that the metrics he used to townlean Willow and meow are NAI.
I guess just to clarify, I get the argument you’re making - “Ash is attempting to undermine Jason’s townreads on Willow and Meow in furtherance of a mafia goal to ensure those two can potentially be misexecutions.” - and in a vacuum, the post seems to be gunning for that, but within the context of the wider ISO, I don’t feel that I was actively pursuing that as agenda?
Like, if I were attempting to really push them into the PoE, I wouldn’t have townleaned meow later on, and I would’ve pushed Willow in some shape or form. If it were my intention to undermine, I’d have approached my following messages differently. Does that make sense?
Kinda spinning my wheels in the dirt, so I’ll just throw out what I’ve got and hope we all get into a fight like the P!NK song.
- Gummy feels mildly wolfy. She’s less mellow than her town performance in Beatings and seems closer to her wolf performance in the QBCord HSR Mafia, where she seemed far more assured in herself. Notably, her pushing to kill meow (jokingly, I’m aware) and her saying that “Jason seems very towny” feel like a sharp departure from her hesitance to make any sort of a read in Beatings.
- Jason jumping straight into analyzing and dissecting is town-indicative. w!Jason tends to fluff post a bit early on and sit on the sidelines, in strong contrast to him attempting to take point from get-go in his town games.
- Upon backreading meow’s games, one of the things that stands out to me is that w!meow encourages other people’s pushes D1 while t!meow seems to hesitate on pushing people. Difference between “I forgot [player] is always a comfortable d1 vote” and “doesnt necessarily mean [player] is anti-town”. I don’t really know how to parse which is the case here, but I still stand by my townlean case from earlier, and #141 rereads as paranoid in a specifically towny way.
- Carbon’s always opened with “GOOD MORNING MAFIA” in every game she’s been mafia in and never opened with it in any game she’s been town in. Get her!
- More seriously regarding Carbon, she feels lower-energy compared to her mafia games, where she feels a need D1 to be in thread and constantly posting about something or the other. Townlean.
- Willow should have more towngames where she doesn’t die in under 10 posts. Closest thing I have are her Loop games, one of which is somewhat muddied by her hardclaiming fakeclaiming Detective from the word go. That said, from what I can tell, D1 + D2 t!Willow feels very reactive to immediate stimuli, focusing on the immediate threadstate and vibing versus w!Willow attempting to prove herself as useful. In a sense, I’m conceding that Jason’s read on Willow is correct: w!Willow feels a pressure to be useful in a way that t!Willow does not appear to. As such, townlean.
what does LAMIST stand for again? gummy has been more inactive than I expected but her boyfriend is over or something right so real life > mafia
