I think I might be the Goblin - EVIL WIN

Exactly, we had 1 sober VI check

We thought you were the Sweetheart who was fakeclaiming Dreamer

To see who ended up Drunk and clear them

We kinda just had zero info.
I’m moderately happy with my performance, all things considered. Litten is, unfortunately, extremely cracked at winning arguments.

Anyways, @Chariot, take your fifteen minutes of fame.

Town isn’t obliged to have accurate and powerful information all the time. Chomps learned Hippo was evil after the fact, but parsing socials is an expected part of every game regardless. You continuously executed villagers because you trusted the Demon’s information, that’s just how it was.

Several of you independently cottoned onto suspecting Mittens D1 in your rolecards, which was inspiring all the same well done.

I think overall the setup was balanced and this was mostly a “evil played well” issue

BetterMittens:

  • got a good player (admittedly a damsel) executed D1
  • made one of the best nightkills N1
  • got the Amne exed D2 (btw I wanted to show Ash No Dashii if he lived there)
  • killed another info role (drunk, sure, but still info) N2
  • was able to push agenda while going more or less unquestioned

Yeah like we had info that there wasn’t a Kazali or a Mutant which really doesn’t help us with a solve? We had a TC who managed to confirm info we already knew. And a VI who got info we already somewhat knew.

Yeah, I know, but this game did feel like an uphill battle.
The Hippo/Zone thunderdome did wonders, and the fact that we could get it down to 5 feasible worlds is itself a bit of a miracle.

We would’ve been ocmpletely screwed if Huntsman had actually hit Damsel, we thought we were screwed before Jarek claimed the fake Noble info. Jarek lying there helped us swing things in our favour quite a bit

This is why I somewhat dislike choosing the drunk VI after they choose their target smh.

I think this was the big one.
Mittens basically ran the entire show.

Litten played the game well, ain’t gonna argue otherwise there yeah.

I’m not sure good could’ve played this game much differently due to us having a… complete lack of mech due to the drunk VI being put on the one VI who did anything which mattered.

You know you, like, don’t have to fold just because Litten talks

I think it’s in large part Huntsman/Damsel swinginess, if Huntsman hits Damsel there we just lost

This is much easier to say on the other side of a Litten fight.
And also because I am not at all equipped to argue with people.

That’s not necessarily true tbh.
Like we don’t know what ability I’d have gained, I probably don’t get granted the luxury of a demon bluff being granted.
