I’ve certainly gotten better, sure - reread the Assassination Classroom BotF, and I’ve made a lot of improvement in being able to hold my ground - but arguing with Litten is, to utilize his earlier metaphor, fighting someone who’s pinning you to the bottom of the pool floor.

Executing Hippo D2 (when he hadn’t claimed goblin and it was past the deadline to claim it) is one way good could definitely have played differently
Which would let Ash get another night of info, and (if people decide Hippo is entirely outed) means all the non-hippo dead players are confirmed good
We were really low on Demon candidates, you’d take 2 out of the pool with Huntsman/Damsel confirmation & whatever info was granted there would probably make things worse. If Jarek had actually been the Damsel we were stuck trying to get, like, Chomps or Moth executed, which was gonna be an uphill battle

In hindsight, Hippo was an extremely obvious Goblin.
I think not claiming damsel there was a reasonable play
I’m not critiquing your play in particular, just contesting the claim that the setup was unbalanced or good didn’t have ways to make better choices

He was an extremely obvious minion but we have no way to fully determine between goblin and other minions. Except perhaps just “The only reason he’d damsel guess D1 is due to being goblin”?

And there wasn’t a real good reason to execute Hippo there, the PD abilities were not very good (Boffin is way too late and the best it could’ve gotten us was Sweetheart to use on an Imp starpass, SW is too late, Goblin is too late, Cerenovus is obvious, Xaan is lol. Lmao

Carbonated locked in a Mittens check mid-D1 and changed it to Ash the last hour iirc. It didn’t matter due to the nightkill but it was close.
