I imagine you died because Chomps’ VI check was blatantly false to Mitten’s perspective, and you also claimed VI to Mittens, so it was confirmed you were sober.

The following day Mittens argued they’d have to kill Chomps if they were the Demon which…

BotC games shouldn’t be designed s.t. Good can win while listening to the evils the entire time and incorrectly social reading ~every player. There was a fairly narrow pool of Demon candidates and people chose wrong

This is kinda uncharitably phrased, it wasn’t everyone that was being incorrectly read, but when it came down to execution decisions people just didn’t go “oh Ash is towny let’s not kill Ash let’s kill outed evil Hippo instead”, etc. I don’t think the game was unfair on Good
