I think I might be the Goblin - EVIL WIN

Who is keeping score on this.

Okay, let’s walk this back now, who do you think my minion is

May she’s absolutely laughing at this

I confess, I do not know.
I need to look through the mech and form worlds.
I simply wish to note that from a mechanical standpoint (and specifically from my standpoint), you being the Demon makes the most sense.

Moth, I must confess I think you are right

It’s not a litten game until I can piss of everyone in the game to wanting me dead when finding mafia

From my PoV, you would probably be the Imp.
Kazali can’t exist according to my information, and I would hope that the GMs would not be cruel enough to put a No-Dashii next to an Amnesiac and make my role functionally useless. This would also make sense to potentially facilitate a starpass during the night, which you set the seeds for in #1153.
Where that leads me, I don’t know. I simply am approaching this as best I can.

I’d ask if this makes sense to you, but I imagine no world I construct where you are evil would elicit a yes.

Gardener isn’t in play

It makes sense enough to where I think I’m starting to understand you

Ok.
I have an exam tomorrow, so I’m going to go sleep.
I do hope you’re town.

I’m literally not trying to be patronising, I’m asking you about mech info. I was trying to trap you with the first question (which is why I said “correct answer”).

I thought your claim was weird because you didn’t ever refer to guessing your ability, you just seemed like you took it as a given that you were receiving out-of-play characters, so I thought there was a chance you’d misunderstood how Amnesiac works and had messed up the claim. If there’s a chance I can catch somebody out as a liar I’m gonna try

I am literally not being disrespectful of your intelligence and I don’t know where the hell you’re getting that from. I’m not putting you down. I’m trying to ask you questions about your role, and you answered them right, so I said correct answer

I don’t know whether it was yesterday or today, and I also don’t know for sure that a wolf version of you wouldn’t have misunderstood when Amnesiac guesses. I’ve misunderstood roles I’m fakeclaiming before. I just wanted to go for it, if I can catch a Demon off of mech questions I’m going to try

@Kiiruma I don’t think ash is evil

@Zone_Q11 do you mind if we whisper today?

I don’t wanna keep fighting with you so I’m gonna back off, but, like, trying to probe you with questions about your role to see if you slip up isn’t “disrespecting your intelligence” or being “patronising”, it’s part of the game of Blood on the Clocktower.

I literally have previously claimed to have an N1 protection as Monk as the Demon; if anything, claiming that asking those kinds of role questions to try to catch a lie is calling you stupid implies that I am also stupid for having slipped like that in the past

–May

You were the monk in that game tbough? I’m confused

I’m not stupid, you’re not stupid, I don’t think you’re stupid. People just make absentminded mistakes sometimes and I wanted to see if you’d make one. I get that my question of “why not account for it in your math” is stupid FYPOV if you are actually Amnesiac, the answer is obvious: “I didn’t know my ability”. But I don’t know your role, I don’t know whether you’re actually Amnesiac, I was trying to see if you knew the obvious answer, because if you didn’t, I’d have great reason to think you were fakeclaiming

I parsed “Correct answer!” as being patronizing because I felt that I had been as clear as I could with my methodology, and my Amnesiac guess was also very public.
It just…I think it was partly me interpreting that as “you not caring to go look for it yourself”, which became “you talking down to me”, which became “patronizing”. Something, something, assumptions make an ass of you and me.

Oh yeah, a while back you said your behavior was probably frustrating to me. I very rarely get frustrated. It’s correct to assume that most things I say while biting my finger nails and thinking and smiling
