There’s a difference between plausible and a possiblity. There are a lot of plausible things people can do in mafia. Not all of them are likely. There’s a reason I never suspected Spooky after Skrim was hung, because I just didn’t think it was plausible.

Part of the reason why I was so convinced it was Garfooled yesterday was I went through chains of logic to arrive at the conclusion everyone else was town. When I said I had nothing planned, I lied. I had things planned for myself, as in I thought I would die and thus I decided to try to solve the last wolf on my own, in a litten fashion. I spent the entire night phase utterly confused because I couldn’t find the mistake in my chain of logic.

Chain of logic:

1. Skrim voting Aleph at EOD, plus the bickering with Aleph and Ori, led me to the conclusion Aleph was town.

For transparency, Ori seems to fit the archetype of a wolf who doesn’t do much distancing and instead tries to power wolf. The reason I believe this is because they never provided a wolf read on Skrim throughout the entire game and when Skrim was taking off they defended and offered several other suggestions. They don’t strike me as a lazy wolf who hates getting their hands dirty, so I genuinely think Aleph and Kel are clear based off them.

2. Ori looking like a generic power wolf 101, trying to defend Skrim, made me think Kel and Ori are not teamed, it makes zero sense to park a vote on your other wolf partner to defend a partner who’s getting buried lmao. Also the fact he continued to push Kel the next day phase. There’s zero reason for Ori to lock himself in like this, it’s a self imposed cage that he walked into for no reason.

I’ll admit I’ve never seen a wolf provide a counter wagon to their wolf partner who is being cased with long enough walls to encompass a library with another wolf partner that would be a first

3. Skrim changing from Ori to BradLand makes zero sense if their goal was to try to save themselves and get a villager hung, it makes more sense to push into v!Kel than push w!brad into tied wagons if w/w

I don’t think BradLand is mafia due to the fact that Skrim shifted from Ori to BradLand, instead of going over to Kel. I feel like it would make most sense for w!Skrim to go after Kel rather than W!Brad. I think Skrim was just desperate and that Ori was right about that. It also explains why they switched to Aleph.

5. Zone is town for having non w/w interactions with a flipped wolf Skrim, plus the fact that Ori suspected them right out of the gate for reasons that weren’t even alignment indicative

6. Chomp is just in his villager meta, I never explained this itt idt but they opened up with a hey I’m VT please clear me opener, had reads that seemed genuinely belivable, had takes that seem like they aren’t bullshit and are just reacting

And so, when Garfooled was executed, I spent ten actual minutes thinking the flip was fake, even checking to see if the player list was updated with the flip multiple times, until it hit me it was actually real. The chain of logic implied I made a mistake somewhere. And I spent last night basically going over different approaches. First I started out with the reasons I were town reading people logically, then I saw who I was town reading due to how they were playing, and I kept oscillating between Kel and Brad being the last mafia , but I could never get past the logic barrier, it didn’t read

But what if the mistake was in chain 3? Something to notice is that Skrim was wall cased pretty heavily, was being suspected a lot, both wolves would have told them they were probably dying that phase, which would explain the lack of posts, them not wanting to spew stuff…and if they went into that eod thinking they were going to die, then the best thing to do is vote your partners and hope the town flips you.

They voted Ori (mafia) then BradLand unflipped until they switched to a self pres wagon which was probably villager.

lowkey i didnt actually think ori would be at risk of dying today, i just wanted to see how they’d respond to my questions and then keep or move my vote based on how they responded
in an ideal world i wouldve done this with more time left in EoD but that’s my fault for entering thread late

brad isnt online atm so i still feel bad about this but he said he was getting slammed with irl stuff so i feel slightly less bad compared to limming someone who’s able to be more active but cant be online specifically for the last few min of EoD

I can go over any of the other slots in the game that you suspect are mafia, explain my perspective of them and why I don’t think it’s them, and we can have a discussion about that, or you can poke at my logic here if you are having trouble understand here. I obviously did not go into a lot of depth of my logic in the chain and I can expand if you request.

Yeah, that’s been, the hardest thing to really explain. He started off strong in the game d1 and has been steadily posting less. It’s not even that he was succesful at going UTR, as Ori tried to start a wagon on them d2, they were up for being executed d3 as Ori kept pressuring them for being frozen.

Like, this post is clearly Ori sticking out his neck for Skrim, it offers a potential counter wagon at EOD that Skrim could grasp to save themselves
