i thought it was unwise for anyone but harris to be chosen as the nominee when biden stepped down post-primary because i thought odds are anyone else would cause so many issues that it would tank their chances. that evaluation is entirely separate from whether or not i liked harris at the time or now or what i thought of her campaign (i didn’t, i do not, it was dogshit after the hard pivot to the middle)
