Hahahah yessss
wait hold on
good thing no one here does this obsessively
in every city in utah (except salt lake county butiâll get into that later) (that ivâe seen) there are two streets that are designed as the x and y axes. usually these are Main Street, Center Street, etc. i forgot which one is usually which but still
almost every other street is named in comparison to main street and center street. if your street is 3 blocks west of center street, it is 300 W. then, points along these roads are named in comparison to how far they are from the other one; so if youhad a house thatâs on 300 W thatâs named 457 N, that means that house is 300 blocks west and ~4.5 blocks north of where main street and center street intersect.
basically itâs a coordinate graph
it gets confusing when you get roads that go in multiple directions at different points. usually theyâll get named something fancy which is why you still get bad street names in utah.
occassionally specific cities will also have specific roads that are important that are also named; for example, provo has âcougar bolevaurdâ which is like 1300 N
I usually just not even put pronouns in unless it asks me to its not a dating site and i wouldnt care about people assuming im a woman (its pretty easy to tell by how i write anyway) i only put prounoun on this account to match the energy of my pfp
For me when I am ~cis any pronouns mode itâs cause I donât want my gender to matter, I think the idea that people have to specify my gender every time theyâre talking about me shouldnât matter. So online Iâm not gonna specify pronouns.
I donât always feel this way but I do sometimes and I know others who feel this way always
real
this means if youâre driving and you see a sign that says the road parallel is 200 W, and then 100 W, you can deduce you are going east
this is actually super cool
Other people will correct on your behalf
I am in a very literal sense genderfluid but I donât like the, like, social connotations and image the label tends to draw to mind for somebody like me, thatâs not who I am. Itâs something different. So I donât use it
ye
each city has their own grid and their own main/center streets
salt lake county actually has the grid be the entire fucking county, even across cities
On discord i dont have pronouns or a description and my username is gender neutral as fuck but my picture is a fat topless dude and everyone knows i am male from that
uk car accidents in 2023:
1,695 people were killed (1,624 in Britain, 71 in NI).
28,967 were seriously injured (28,087 in Britain, 880 in NI).
which is⌠50 different than the number from the sourrce i found?
For some people (myself included), I can struggle with any pronouns because I just like having a default and not having to think about it. I can get used to it when I have a vibe on a person and know what they like or know they know me, but if thatâs not the case, it gives me anxiety. I didnât vote in your Tumblr poll for example because I donât know you well enough and I donât want to have a say in that because pronouns are, at least for me, important regarding my gender and the way people see me. Even knowing that you want it to not matter for you, itâs still difficult for me to do anything to prescribe gender for you
imagine having to tell people you live on 2300 N. whereâs the soul
The soul is saved by having to spend less time navigating
