It is on my understanding that Gummy is Roland aka Black Silence, while it may appear that Roland being weak investigative it’s also shown on burning the black silence’s summary that this role do appear weak at first but becomes incredible powerful that will able to see anyone’s roles and flavor in full description.

In my case… If I had to give Frostwolf a reason to be townread, then it would probably be the fact that he is talking at all? Especially about mech too. That sounds about right for v!Frostwolf.

In reality though, I am still on the fence. I don’t like hedging my reads, but he’s on the same field as Chomps from D1; GTH Town, but otherwise I don’t have any solid reason to defend him.
(Having that said, I do recall I “defended” him by interpreting his words to Leafia, starting from P#2234 to P#2293.)

Chomps have been staunchly defending me for the second half of D1, and the start of D2. He voted ACE when she said she disrupted me. He voted Jarek when Jarek voted me. He said “vote for whoever tutuu votes” on D1. I have had Chomps in my townreads for the entire game.

Now, only NOW, did I start consider him to be mafia. I explicitly state “I suspect Chomps because he is not being wild enough. He is being too reasonable.” (This was about his treatment of gummy when she was trying to get executed)

In RESPONSE to me saying this, he puts on this charade of “tutuu wolf, i got a bomb and im bombing tutuu, im butting heads with tutuu, get notified pinged, are these enough pings forum u, im just bored and omgussing”

Is this not a deliberate and conscious appeal to me to townread him?

sailboat wolves have their goal as looking towny, going with the current, keeping the status, town side as a cost for the reward of living long and overtaking at f3. sailboat wolves will look good because they aren’t actively trying to screw town

I don’t think there is sufficient evidence to case EggYolk yet. I’m slowly getting a feel for things. I can towncase a large number of people extensively which leaves EggYolk via process of elimination. It’s a little bit of guesswork, if gummy is town (like im confident she is), then EggYolk trying to respectfully shade her and not butt heads with anyone and lay low and not have particular reasons to be townread just makes it an enticing slot to flip, to me

Hm… Aside from the fact that he knew something about me mechanically, there… isn’t any reason I townread him, to be honest. Him being busy today (IRL) probably doesn’t help either… NGL, I just want to hear more from EggYolk before forming my own re-evaluation.

Unless this role is a filler-ability for Pandora’s other ability, then this ability ought to tell us that there are Books that don’t provide benefits to Pandora upon burning them.
However, that statement alone isn’t giving us enough information to work at all. The best we can make out of it are assumptions, and assumptions are prone to being wrong.
