You can tell my posts apart because they're in georgia or some serif font, depending on your device. If this formatting doesn't work on your device, please let me know and I can try to rectify it. If you have trouble telling fonts apart, let me know and I'll switch to post tagging. I've recently switched to an automated serif-fonter that should generally work better than applying it manually but it has some kinks to work out (I'm working on a new version which only serifs my words and leaves the quotes alone too)

NGL, it’s kinda weird to look at.

• Because of the automation, everything you will quote will follow the same font (which… NGL, I am not really fond of).
• Because you use <div>, all your posts have a slight indentation at the beginning if you’re not quoting any posts.
• Because you use <font> instead of [font], all BBcode directly beneath the first line (i.e., the automated line) gets written literally if you don’t use <div>. (E.g., this becomes **this**.)

Yeah, uh. I can’t do much about that. I am definitely guilty of this, and every time I want to give a read or an opinion about someone else I mentally freeze because I cannot be certain that my future selves will be able to uphold my present self’s thought. (I don’t have the courage to express my thoughts either. That’s probably also an issue.)

Who wants to discuss the books for 48 hours then random vote someone

I wanted to raise my hand, but the idea of discussing one topic -any topic- for over 12 hours is sickening. The thing about talking about reads is: Even if you have someone who is confident in their reads, it is useless if they are wrong. (Case in point: gummy in FAM6 D5.) Talking about mech is “hollow”, but at least when one is wrong about mech it won’t be because of skill issue.

I can live with that. I already stated my opinions on burning Unstable Books, so as long as those don’t get burned, I genuinely don’t care whether the people burn the stable Book or burn no Book.

Uhh not really. Burning books just means getting pages, I think the equivalent here is information.

Burning Geburas book of the Red Mist in game would get you an attack used by Gebura or her like…outfit for lack of a better word.

Here we are just getting information about her role so it’s roughly similar.

So it’s played straight, there’s no hidden death mechanics. If you see something that says turning someone into a book that probably means killing them so keep an eye out for that

The second line is the part I am wary of. “It would get you an attack used by X.” Translated to FM, it makes sense if the Mafia could gain powers because their Books are burned.

Okay, it was not given directly, but I distinctively remember a time when Mafia were discussing how to justify our roles as their Town counterparts, so it probably happened in Mafia Chat then. (Which I have left, because I don’t archive past games’ servers.)

I find it funny how these posts were posted 12 minutes from each other. I don’t remember anyone townreading me because of tutuu though, because I remember Leafia being the only other person to townread me, and she has her own reasons to do so.

(My initial response was: “My answer is the same answer you would give to [Have you read every ~470 posts yet?” but I found that rude, so I changed my answer into one that directly addresses the question instead.) (Why am I telling this, you ask? Because your question irked me, and the negative emotion did not fade away. It feels less than performative.)

There should be books that will receive the full flips, by the looks of it.

Given that the initial gimmick of this setup is that most flips are not fully shown, I highly doubt the Book of Library will suddenly remove said gimmick.

Mild townlean on Achro. Trying to steer players from away from unproductive decisions is appreciated. I don’t think it’s out of his wolfrange or anything, but I’ve seen him lay a little low / mess around a little more as mafia; take it more easy as mafia, in general. It’s not out of his town range either. So if Achro is mafia I don’t think he was gonna feel obligated to try to steer things imo. I’m making a guess, or a gamble, that if he randed mafia here, he would shitpost a bunch and pocket people by trying to do fun stuff and say what they wanna hear.

  Wolf. My prefered vote for today. There is not even a single post from him that I’ve read as town. “Just play mafia” is ridiculously condescending to the point that I have no choice but to believe it’s wolf shutting down discussion.

  I really expected two players to be saying more things about the game but neither of them really have. This gives me a slight wolflean. Other than that, nothing I have particularly disliked.

  I? Idk call it fatigue early in the morning but I really struggled to come up with an opinion for this. Something about these posts bugs me. I guess it’s the “not committing to reads”(I don’t know if that’s something they often do) and also then proceeding to say nothing about mechanics(something that I have already expressed, I am not a fan of). Another wolf lean.

  I actually remember zero posts from him. Except that one giving pity townlean(I mean, I guess I am doing that too)- I also see… lots of discussions started but never ended? My instincts strongly say wolf. Even though there isn’t really much evidence for it.

  Wazza has acted somewhat towny, and I believe their entire confusion spiel about the book burning. Also I have a bias over here because Wazza was the other player focusing on mech, which I think is quite reasonable actually. Despite what I have been told.

  Townread for the frustration displayed at the start of the game. And in general, with the way he has communicated. Also he knows about prescripts, which is something I think only one evil would have if they even do.
• Ace
  Townread again, she has claimed something about her rolecard that makes me trust her. Though more importantly I think she gives a much clearer vibe than anyone here
• FreezinIce
  He’s been doing good stuff, I mostly agree with the reads and also has both discussions about mech and socials. Like a good townie should!
• Rue
  Imagine all the reads I got from Leafia except if I wasn’t voted. Townlean.
• Chomps
  Despite lacking a single post longer than a line(17 inch monitor), I think I have a good picture of Chomps’s opinions. Which is good enough for me to lean town!

  Zero posts in this topic. Okay.(Opinion: I think zero posts is less suspicious than 12 posts, but not by much. A wolf would be online for SOMETHING at least.)

  From my experience, it really is best to leave any reads on Jarek alone untill later. Though giving me more town than wolf if that means anything.

  Prize for most positive player :D, I am unfortunately a pit of negativity and do not like that. Again, another gut wolf lean. But only mildly.

  Inoffensive takes, but why is he so defensive of tutuu? Wolflean just for that really, otherwise I have nothing else to say. Yet.

  In the stripped club… straight up “sussing” it… and by it let’s just say… heh… my OMGUSsy. That aside, while she’s got a very low post count, every post HAS said something so to my dismay I will leave this as an neither town nor wolf for now.

I’m holding myself back from reiterating my lists of reads, an issue I’ve had is getting too tunneled and refusing to reeval and influencing others too much. When I’m accurate it’s good but when I’m not it’s not. So it feels difficult but I’m holding back. I want to keep an open mind to completely reverse my reads if needs be.

I think things are going fine so far. The amounts of people playing sensibly are more than the amount of possible wolves, imo, so we definitely have a number of sensible villagers.

If things start getting off track I will intervene again, but imo things are good rn and I’m more likely to hurt than help further. So I shall watch for a bit.
