I can’t say I fully grasped the book burning mini game. Do town bookhunters gain benefits from burning wolves’ books, or is that unknown? I’ll reread later.

We burned our town bookhunter, so they wont get any benefits even if we voted to dig up Achro, for instance.

Bleh, my action on Achro went through but the action’s benefit I would have gotten would only have been useful next night so. Urgh.
Regarding D1 flip and burning Books:
- In retrospect, Pandora’s flip is rather good. It sucks that we got a ML, but her flip confirms the existence of at least one other Bookhunter, and I choose to disbelieve that there aren’t any Mafia Bookhunters.
- With the existence of Key Pages revealed to the public, nobody is cleared for having a mechanically-proven role. For instance, it is confirmed that Rue has a Messenger ability, but that does not prove she is Town, since Mafia could have Messenger as their Key Page.
- I don’t know who burnt the Unstable Book of Black Silence, but I am not seeing any immediate side-effects of the burn itself. In other words, the worst consequence of burning these Unstable Books is giving the Bookhunters a 1-Shot ability, and to reiterate: I disbelieve the non-existence of Mafia Bookhunters.
- I am of the opinion that we should not continue burning any Books. Period. They only power-up Bookhunters, and I believe the Mafia will do everything in their power to go against me in this matter. Because this is literally how they get more powers.
- [This point is less important.] We now know that Unstable Books reflect non-Town roles, so there is at least four non-Town… Though that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are all from groupwolves. There could even be a fifth Unstable Book that is not revealed at the start of the game, because the description says “a number of Unstable Books are revealed at the start of the game”.

The day I am kinda acting weird yesterday because I am suppose to do make some reads and then discard them tomorrow, or I get punished.
The funny thing is, Achro technically should be my executioner.
We have confirmation of at least another Bookhunter over here in Pandora’s rolecard, idk if it’s wise for them to claim if they’re town though. And it wouldn’t be entirely out of character for them to be Mafia(and flavour wise, could be Roland. Since someone burned that book deliberately)

Yup. My reasoning for the Red Mist was because I didn’t like the idea of Burning the Library book. Take that for what you will, in hindsight it doesn’t look nice to burn Mafia books and give them key pages.
