It depends on the player, but it’s a thing I see from people who powerwolf. These people primarily make scum reads and swap wagons when one doesn’t work. If you have been paying attention to my posts I asked Squirrel for an example of a scum game to look at so I can solve that, but from my initial skim it looked like Squirrel was powerwolfing

quick question brad - would you place anyone in this game on the pedestal of “hoping i find that they’re town so once i do i can work with them and dominate the shit out of the game with them”? i feel like your play so far has been pretty self-focused - you have your own little list of townreads and a wolfread in squirrel, but iirc i haven’t really seen you designate one of your townreads to really work together with, if that makes sense

like i thought he was town at SoD because i don’t think a wolf team with him makes that NK

Wazza because we’ve become friends since I started playing on here and I think out of 8 games (approximate amount) we’ve only randed town together in 2 games, which 1 she was hydra’ing with Windward and was yeeted Day 1, and the other we kinda didn’t click since she was pissed off at someone and she refused to actually work with me?
Problem this game has been the fact that we haven’t been on at the same time that often thus far this game.
Kiiruma to a degree because I’ve seen him 3 games in a row be correct on a scumread that doesn’t go well because the rest of town screws it up.
I don’t think we click that well for some reason? Just a feeling, no real explanation that I have for it.

mostly when a player doesn’t mention another player, they put them as part of their poe. the fact that you didn’t i thought meant that you had some sort of townread on lol that you didn’t explain

given your lack of presence this game besides the brouhaha at SoD, i don’t think it is wolfy for people to suspect you
I felt like his catch-up wall was a lot of negatives towards slots in terms of “This is wolfy” and a few discrediting townreads. I asked him about his townreads and they were mostly consensus towns.
That was mostly my reasoning. I’m not sure what to think of him or my read on him now, since plenty of others, including you, disagree I’m losing confidence in it.
i’m not the best arctic reader so take this with a grain of salt, but i think one of the few actual windows into arctic’s mind is how he just expressed frustration with kiiruma and drunkenly dipped:
i’m just trying to think about how arctic dunked a LHF player named willtaylor in the game I wolfed with him (town vs bandits)
iirc in day 2 he was tunneling that slot rather aggressively and even got into a yelling match with leafia about who would claim the “wolf” pelt (even though it was a town slot)
i feel like his shifting focus today between brad/lol/mistyx/kiiruma and his exasperation/frustration is… i think genuine? like i said at the beginning of the game, i think if arctic rands wolf this game he just spends his sweet time tunneling weak players and not showing the flashes of frustration he’s had at various points throughout this game. i don’t think wolf arctic bothers to take potshots at mistyx for example and needlessly antagonize her if he’s a wolf for example
