Each player starts with 100 VP (victory points)
Game lasts 5 rounds. During each round, a player picks one of three options (submits privately):
1) Invade another player’s nation
2) Bolster defenses of your own nation and guess one player who you think will attack you this round
3) Grow prosperity of your own nation
All actions resolve simultaneously like in mafia. The following happens:

When you invade, the following happens:
1.1. if your target is also invading, you steal 10 VP from them
1.2. if your target is defending, and has correctly guessed you will be attacking them, you steal nothing, and they steal 12 VP from you instead
1.3. if your target is defending, but has not correctly guessed you will be attacking them, you steal 6 VP from them
1.4. if your target has chosen to prosper, you steal 25 VP from them, and they generate nothing from prospering -
When you defend and guess who will be attacking you, the following happens:
2.1. if you guess right, your attacker steals nothing, and you steal 12 VP from them instead
2.2. if you don’t guess them, your attackers steal 6 VP from you each, instead of 10 VP -
When you grow your prosperity, the following happens:
3.1. if nobody has attacked you this round, generate 22 VP
3.2. if you got attacked, each attacker steals 25 VP from you, and you generate nothing from prospering
If a player is to be stolen from but they don’t have enough to pay up, the VPs will appear out of thin air and be awarded to the attacker(s)
If a player reaches 0 VP they are eliminated
At the end, I will reveal the scoreboard, and hand out awards appropriately
Each round start I publicly announce what each player did last round, and each player’s current VP
Also, each player publicly picks a civ at start. They all have a different bonus
Fire Nation - steal 2 more VP when successfully stealing VP via invading
Water Nation - when you successfully prosper without being invaded, generate 4 more VP
earth nation - when you defend and successfully guess your invader’s name, steal 2 more VP from them
air nation - extinct civilization. unlike the other civilizations, you have no bonuses. however, may you be the chosen one…?
Rounds last 8 minutes, and I will take 4 minutes between to resolve them.
note: if a player trees their action, they will do nothing
In the case of ties, I will split or duplicate or prune the award(s) as adequate, depending on player count and award and number of ties (predetermined)
