As the sun set on the village of Fortresstown, the townsfolk gathered to decide who to expel from their town.
At last, the crowd turned on Daeron. A villager aimed a gun at him. “Any last words?”
Daeron smiled. “Yes,” he said, pulling out his crossbow. “May my aim be true, and may my shot find its mark!”
An arrow whirred through the air, striking YBW in the chest. In panic, the villager pulled the trigger, and Daeron collapsed to the ground as well.
“So he wasn’t the tanner?” someone said. “I guess he must be … the Hunter?” She glanced at YBW. “But what was she, then?”
She pulled the arrow from YBW’s chest, and peeled back her jacket. Beneath it, she was wearing a leather shirt, and holding a fleshing knife in her pocket.

tbh it’s kind of unfair to tanner that YBW is tanner
like imagine being a tanner and making yourself look scummy a ton while making a joint plan to push kiiruma to make yourself look obvi and then pulling it off seamlessly (a big feat, he’s really good at the game and will be obvious villager) and have him more or less be a consensus wolf read only for somebody you were planning to pocket turning out to be seer with a tanner read on you. This is totally hypothetical btw but if I were hypothetically a tanner in this situation I would find it really unfair that TWICE IN A ROW THE WOLVES FUCKING OPENWOLF socially taking a very winning position into (a tanner rand) a tougher one. It’d absolutely ruin my hypothetical day.
