I don’t recommend giving the person money, they have no reason to give you anything. We figured out you were hacked an hour or so ago. Contact discord support.

Ah okay and I didn’t give them anything luckily. The credit union I use prevented any attempts too. I think I got control of my Discord account back though.

oh just so you guys know since we’re on the topic, scammers can call from real company phone numbers, so be careful giving out your information. always make sure to call the company to confirm

DON’T SCAN QR CODES
IF SOMEONE SOJMDS OFF JUST TALK TO THEM AND FIGURE OUT IF THEY ARE ACTUALLY REAL. MOST SCAMMERS ACTUALLY DON’T TALK BACK ANYWAY. YOU ARE A MAFIA PLAYER DONT FALL FOR THESE SCAMS

Few good rules of thumb

  • If your friend is suddenly speaking broken english, they ain’t your friend
  • Your friend probably isn’t secretly a gamedev or a commissioner
  • Your friends did not win mrbeast’s personal lottery (saw this one a few times nowadays)
  • Just like, in general, don’t click random links dmed to you out of the blue
  • Strongly consider friends only dms (I kind of have to because i get spammed by tos2cord lmfao)
