Im a big fan of treestumps and janitor cleanings on wagons and nightkills but i agree forging is slightly less fun

In setups defense the forge did have quite a lot of hoops to jump through

Hm… I guess I’ll take note of this for future games. I don’t usually do fake flips (because that’s just more work for me), but I do -or rather, did- have an idea for the Many Systems Setup.

((Then again, I feel like that game is never going to be made at all given that it’s all based on unfulfilled premises and promises.))

Noted. By the way -promotion time- my setup Names Redacted doesn’t have forges. Instead, parts of the flips get redacted. (Alignments don’t get redacted.)

Fake alignment flips are miserable to me because they interfere with the base solving flow of the game in a way that is undetectable, at least until they’re revealed, and because the vast majority of setups consider fake flips off-limits, they’re not something people initially think to solve for.

Basicaly nothing else you do in a setup will interfere with somebody’s picture of the social situation in that way. If somebody doesn’t flip, you can solve for both worlds, you know something’s up. If somebody fake flips for 96 hours in a setup where the expectation of fake flips being possible wasn’t clearly set, the idea that there’s fake flips isn’t going to come up
