Odyssey to the Fortress of Lunacy - Game Over - Conspirators Win!

I think you should leave and let on while no mistakes are actively being made, no need to worry before it :innocent:

and when people start doing the mistake that’s when you spam swear words at them and tell them to leave mafia forever

You are way too jumpy

One person said this. pandora said this. She did not say “I think meowl is cleared town”, she said “meowl looks towny and will probably resolve itself”. She got immediate pushback from Rue.

You’re jumping at shadows because you think you’re the smartest person in the room

whistles in the fact that i gave litten a role that did basically that is tjw

In a non-bastard game this is different. Its useful because you know the role exists and is true

I dont think other people are dumber than me, no. You say this very often (not towards me, in general)

Wisp also said this

I dont think im the smartest person in the room. Youve said similar things to Litten and i forgot where else. You are likely projecting

help i want attention but im also anxious that itll be bad attention :joy_cat:
im reliving the mafia noob lifestyle :sunglasses:

I am aware of this fact.

Yeah possibly. General anxiety / paranoia

I’m using that role as a metaphor for unreliable information in general.

If the chance of false information is less than 50%, you have useful info, bastard game or not.

It’s harder when you can’t quantify the exact chance of incorrect information, but like, nonetheless, you have something, there’s no reason to disregard it all

I think we’re getting a bit bogged down in this here.
Tutuu, we’re aware that mech can be manipulated, and we make reads with that in mind. I appreciate that you want to keep skepticism, but the important thing is to maintain healthy skepticism, not paranoia.

Are there any other reads you have about players in the game, unrelated to this?

I think the comment assuming your mental state was probably unwarranted.

However, I still think you’re treating other people like they’re dumb. You’re treating other people like they don’t know what “bastard game” means, like they’ll blindly trust a mech announcement, when literally nobody has shown themselves doing that thing!

The only person who said anything close to “meowl is clear” is pandora, who still expressed doubt.

I think you need to have more faith in other people’s intelligence.

i also gave the wolves a role that was a rolecop gifter but wolves are allowed to fabricate the results to whatever they want
i actually think that that role was sick because they could have a tradeoff between either spreading fake info on town or getting real role info for their frankly busted anticlaim

man tjw was a fun time that an this is making me want to setup design again

Er i dont know if this is specifically treating other people as dumb or just being paranoid

They are similar but i think there’s an important distinction

I agree with May, there is a fair share of strong players in this game in my opinion, and I dont believe like oompa loompas we go, “i see blue reveal, I read town.” I get where ur coming from, but I also think we should take all info one step at a time.

Wym?

Right, but even though that’s explicitly false information, it’s false information with a source. If the wolves used it to fake a green on one of them, if that role flips, that backfires onto them.

Sure, the source is paranoia, but it’s still a lack of trust, it still manifests the same way.

This is a large reason why trust issues are very detrimental in social interactions! You insult other people when you make it clear you don’t trust their competence!
