Hm… If such was the case, then I kind of want to try voting everyone to see who got targeted by this ability. (And whether it even has any impact on the game.)

Kuro and I voted Boq; Both of us were painted in maroon.
Kuro unvoted; no longer maroon.
I switched to DkKoba; no longer maroon.
Onion voted SeonRichard; They got painted in maroon.
Hopefully the name color change is a cosmetic effect and not something awful, such as arsonist.

Well, if such was the case, then all you’d need to do is just not vote them.
However, considering we currently know that the “paint” works on anyone who votes Boq and your slot, I highly doubt this to be the case. (Unless you want to claim to be an arsonist.)
