What is Patreon?
Patreon is a monthly subscription service that allows you to support the forum with a reoccurring donation. Signing up is easy, and if you change your mind you can cancel your subscription.
If you want to financially support the forums, but you can’t afford a monthly donation, you can contact Chloe to discuss ways to make a one-time donation.
How do I donate?
Register for Patreon, then go to the Fortress of Lies Patreon page to set up your donation.
What benefits do patrons get?
Patrons get various benefits depending on their donation tier.

- Private Patron-only category on the site.
- Heart flair in bottom-right corner of forum profile picture.
- Patron Pink forum name.
$10/month tier
- Private Patron-only category on the site.

- Custom emoji while you’re a Patron (contact a staff member to have it added!)
$20/month tier
- Private Patron-only category on the site.

What will the money be used for?
The money will pay for hosting costs for the forum.
- At $40/month, we will be able to afford the monthly cost of hosting the forum.
- At $80/month, we will be able to afford the monthly cost of hosting the forum, as well as install customized forum plugins, such as a vote count plugin.
- If the Patreon is funded beyond that, the extra money may be put aside to cover future forum costs, or used to fund additional improvements to the site (such as hiring someone to create customized plugins).
How do I get my perks?
Make sure your FoL email is the same as your Patreon email. Our Patreon plugin automatically checks for new subscribers every few hours, but if you can’t wait that long, feel free to contact a staff member.
