The setups I’m currently thinking about are all open setups where wolves know with certainty that they win off a misexe in MYLO though

And you might argue it’s risky but I don’t think we should be rewarding townies for voting the entire wolf team in f7, sounds fairly annoying
And we certainly shouldn’t be mod confirming people outside the initial xross
OK this is fair enough
I don’t think it’s overall +EV for town to try to do that because people would usually mess up… but people would probably try and it would be an unfun play pattern regardless of result

I meant in combination with locked votes. There is no “townie misvoted last second and nobody was on to snipe so wolves don’t win” people are talking about
If a townie misvotes and it’s possible for wolves to win, the game ends

being so fr rn i think lylo/mylo is probably one of my least favorite parts of mafia games as a whole and its legit part of the reason i became a clocktowerer instead
powerwolfing is cool and all but i never really found it fun i guess? so im probably not the person whose opinion ought to be taken into account here because i’m just gonna push towards anything that doesnt resemble the stuff about mafia lylo that i dislike so much
Locked votes is way more legible and well-understood than wolf auto-hammer and I much prefer it. I do not think you should run unlocked votes with autohammer

To be clear I’m extremely pro-locked-votes in LyLo. In MyLo, eh, I could take it or leave it
Most issues with locked votes are town skill issues that locked votes only make more legible
Project Moon was town skill issues. If you’re knowingly committing to a misexecution immediately at SoD then the damn problem isn’t the locked votes it’s your reads and impulsivity

Yeah it sucks when somebody snapvotes badly, but if they’re snapvoting badly then they’re almost always inevitably going to end-of-day vote badly
They’d lose you the game regardless of whether or not votes were locked, it’s just a legibility difference

like, the issue is that people know that votes lock but then vote to try to create discussion, rather than discussing before voting
they’re acting, at least on some level, like the vote lock isn’t there
