Plants Mountainous Poison - Day 8 (1/16) - Wolf Win

/request vote count

this is such a 1d question but whatever. would brad do the AtE explosion thing as a wolf?

  1. Isn’t just something I’m saying. If a counterwagon to a main wagon flips town in a tie and the main pusher of that wagon gets poisoned, the easiest thought is to think the main wagon was in fact on scum. It’s a thought that I’d expect Leafia to have.
  2. 1 being true, makes it less likely that rereading will lead to a re-evaluation.

Is it 100% that these have to be related? No. This was just what was odd to me, hence I wanted Leafia to have some explanation for it. But they didn’t really, they just reiterated what they had said already.

I’m mulling stuff over still tbh. Still need to read a few high posters, should be nearly there. I’d primarily would want it for the wagon information and well Brad not really being noteworthy today… and well it not being me. ugh.

Going for info instead, if y’all have any other wagon suggestions you can ping me and I’ll look into them

That’s just it. I did have an explaination for it. A perfectly valid one. People are allowed to make sure their reads are correct you know.

@Wazza

Solic.

Also, Solic/Brad are literally never w/w here.

@eevee

Basically I’m fucked, funnnn :slight_smile:

What makes you say that?

i’ll put back a couple of ways: for the criticism of Leafia’s read, i don’t think conventional wisdom should ever, ever be taken more seriously than one’s own reads.

more importantly, for how it impacts my read on you: we’re playing a game in which Leafia is either town or scum. my job, + yours if you’re also town, is to discern which one Leafia is. Leafia made a decision to back her read and (as I assume it) acknowledge, and then disregard conventional wisdom. That’s a game-related decision she’s made, and likely a decision she’s made to either 1) mature her read on Brad; or 2) look like she’s town.

I don’t think that ignoring conventional wisdom in favour of one’s own read is a scum indicator. I don’t know why you think that Leafia has scum motivation in abandoning conventional wisdom. I understand your point that Leafia’s analysis skips something fairly rudimentary; I’m positing that I don’t think it’s an indicator of scum motivation from Leafia. I think she just likes her read more than she backs conventional wisdom.

(@Leafia please shoot me down if I’m, like, putting words in your mouth. I’m largely making assumptions based on the like, ~style~ of your play thru this phase)

agreeeeed. i’m a lil worried that this wagon has been so dominant. i’m also a lil worried Brad is doing nothin while being townread when – as Frog kinda pointed out in a way – he could have easily been a dead man walkin this phase.

Wind wagon was kinda goofy but ??maybe?? but still really bad today
Eevee wagon is, like… sorry I just think it’s a less good version of a Solic wagon.

Because if I’m right in you being a wolf like I think you are, you sound butthurt that I changed my mind on Brad being a wolf and that’s not really something that happens when a villager changes their mind on a scummate of yours.

Right, I’m a bit slow today, lack of sleep.

@lol

I want to see what happens when Brad is wagoned again tbh

That’s not a bad analysis but I don’t think it’s conventional wisdom I’m ignoring here. It’s the fact that I came to the realization that I was treating Brad the same way every game that Marl treats me by finding him scummy, which was unfair to Brad, so I decided to look through his ISO and determine whether or not I was correct in scumreading him.

same I guess

also if solic is scum he’s being bussed, and/or his partners are onions

That makes sense to me. I can definitely track your read change.
