Please Sign This Petition (TW: Death)

Please sign this petition as soon as you can, this man is being executed tomorrow at 6pm despite zero forensic evidence. There’s DNA proof at the scene that does not match Mr Williams. Even the victim’s family is against the execution.

thats quite a shame.

This is a blatant display of fascism & systemic racism, it’s showing us how powerless we truly are.
If they decide they want you gone, they can do it without evidence, even with the victim’s family’s support.
These were his final words

All praise be to Allah in every situation :purple_heart:

Why did the court reject the Prosecuting Attorney’s motion to vacate his conviction, and why did the execution not become delayed until the Missouri Supreme Court had made a ruling on the rejection? This is a massive failure of the law to mitigate the risks of the death penalty. They shouldn’t be giving out the death penalty if they can’t appropriately legislate to mitigate its risks

“The state Supreme Court on Monday wrote in its ruling that DNA testing had actually “undermined Prosecutor’s claim of actual innocence and fully supports the circuit court’s finding that this evidence neither shows the existence of an alternate perpetrator nor excludes Williams as the murderer.””

but how? the spoiling of DNA on the knife creates doubt?

It’s very sad to see that the governor and the courts, both of which were supposed to be the last line of defense against wrongful executions, proved to be the nail in his coffin
