It’s not long enough to be a copypasta.

That’s not a response. ā€œThat’s a nice argument. Unfortunately… ratio.ā€ That’s what you’re saying. You’re saying this because you don’t have an appropriate response, and you don’t understand the honour in acknowledging when your opposition is correct.

That’s a nice argument. Unfortunately, i have the loyalty of all your cats and hire them as spies to knock your water bottle off your desk. reconsider?

That’s a nice argument. Unfortunately, I don’t care.

I don’t know any cats. No cats live here.

That’s :joy_cat: not :joy_cat: a :joy_cat: response. :joy_cat: ā€œThat’s :joy_cat: a :joy_cat: nice :joy_cat: argument. :joy_cat: Unfortunately… :joy_cat: ratio.ā€ :joy_cat: That’s :joy_cat: what :joy_cat: you’re :joy_cat: saying. :joy_cat: You’re :joy_cat: saying :joy_cat: this :joy_cat: because :joy_cat: you :joy_cat: don’t :joy_cat: have :joy_cat: an :joy_cat: appropriate :joy_cat: response, :joy_cat: and :joy_cat: you :joy_cat: don’t :joy_cat: understand :joy_cat: the :joy_cat: honour :joy_cat: in :joy_cat: acknowledging :joy_cat: when :joy_cat: your :joy_cat: opposition :joy_cat: is :joy_cat: correct.

Monke.

what happened to that not being a copypasta

It wasn’t.

anyway yeah rping good but the argument against action interpretation is sound- it puts an unnecessary burden on the hosts to balance the sort of fundamentally unreconcilable goals of fidelity to the chosen actions and balance within the simplisitc system of FM, which is deliberately abstract

interpreting actions and results works in other games, such as Every Tabletop RPG With A GM because the overall system is more nebulous and hence that tension basically isn’t there, but FM has confined enough mechanics and constraints that it basically just… doesn’t work

its very funny as a gimmick role but doesn’t work well as the premise for an entire game, and i’m allowed to say that because i’ve hosted one or two and been in quite a few more

this

I mean you were in Patho 2 so

it’s been years but patho 2 had constrained paramaters, and additionally was canned after like d1, so, lmao
