And then bro woke up to Huxley hitting the fucking
on him, so…
Safe to say, the Radio’s probably in like Android Hell or whatever eagerly awaiting Huxley’s arrival so that he can crash tf out at her.
(because huxley is going to specifically android hell)
(Because the radio can definitely tell that there’s a difference between android hell and regular hell.)
Can’t wait for the game that takes place in mechanically ambiguous hell
Postgame Thoughts
Thank you all for playing! First off, I’m really impressed with how engaged everyone was and how much interest there was - I was not expecting signups to fill so quickly.
Hopefully you all had fun - I know I had a lot of fun, even if it was a little stressful as my first time hosting. With that, here are my thoughts about the game.
Things I Learned For Next Time (?)
Having the game start with everyone in separate rooms was a Bad Idea. I had to switch back and forth so much and it was definitely not worth the payoff.
I also should have drawn out the rooms/maps beforehand - they were really helpful for my own sanity, but doing it on the fly was a little stressful.
Too many triggered abilities is really annoying to keep track of, and I definitely missed some because there was just too much going on.
I eventually set up a system where I had tabs open in action order, which was really helpful for keeping track of actions, but before I did that keeping track of whose turn it is was difficult.
Some of the rooms needed more elaborate descriptions - there were some points where I just had to add more information anyways that could’ve been put into the room description.
I think there might have been one too many betrayal plots - there was the Jean, the Radio, and Arius, which felt like a little much.
Combat was a little hectic - I think
Things I Thought Were Good
I think the worldbuilding went pretty well - there weren’t any obvious plot holes, as far as I could tell, and I enjoyed watching people try to piece together what happened.
Each of the skills felt fairly useful, at least from my POV, and I don’t think there were any gaps that I really noticed.
The system of both player and host designed abilities felt good in my opinion, though I think I should’ve included a few more guidelines about the ability designs.
Each one of the major events (Jean’s disappearance, encountering the Thing, meeting Amber, getting trapped in the Archive, etc.) seemed to go pretty well - I intended to create a lot of ‘oh, snap’ moments and I like to think I delivered.
People picked up on what was going on in a pretty good pace - not figuring out everything right away, but still putting the pieces together.
Anyways, thank you again for playing! I definitely have more thoughts but I’ll post them when I think of them
what’s next from your nutty little mind
Funny moment™ from my chat thing
Also a bit more shit just rapid-fire.
(Pre-game, so I didn’t even know what the antagonist could be or what form of disrepair Kronar was in (i.e. overgrowth, general insanity and delusion, etc.))
individual character thoughts?

I read it, I just didn’t give a shit.
the “had to give everyone an award award” goes to me. i hate you squirrel.
Jean was interesting as a gameplay mechanic (essentially he was supposed to be just for hints and supplying the Nutrigen Medkit if you needed it, but then yall started using him for controlling the power plant which was definitely a larger role than he was supposed to have)
As a character I think he had a lot of potential, but I think I wasn’t especially consistent with how I characterized him
Amber was a lot more consistent and I really did enjoy playing as her, probably on par with some of my other characters from other games. It was a lot harder to give hints with her, but that was probably for the better.
guilty as charged
what was this again.
Him shifting from a frantic guide to a hunger games maniac wasn’t at all jarring
he always came off as a slimy bastard who wasn’t telling the full truth
