I’m gonna go sleep now.
That was a stressful encounter.
epilogue will be posted sometime later tn

Wincon: Discover the secrets of your past and escape → Escape Kronar with at least one member of the team
…wait a minute. Squirrel, what does this mean for the story? Because if no other player can alter the events in Kronar and the surrounding galaxy anymore, then I really will win in due time (in the story).
Because as you know, I need neither Arius nor any other character to be alive to win.

Huxley Ability List
Lunge
(Active) - Spend 5 energy to attack a target within range, dealing 3 damage. This attack cannot be dodged.
(Triggered) - This ability activates at the start of an encounter. This activation bypasses the normal turn order, and does not cost energy.
Regenerate
Spend 10 energy to regenerate up to 2 health, then permanently gain that much strength.
Hook and Line
(Active) - Chava generates from her printer a barbed hook attached to a thin line. The line is strong enough to carry 125 lbs, roughly her entire body weight. Chava can optionally detach the line as well.
Analytical Core
A cylinder with red, blue, and green buttons, with a light above each one. The red light is currently on. A number of
mechanical parts protrude from it.Status: 6/6 Charge, currently set to Pain
(Active) -
- Spend 1 Energy to gain 1 Charge, up to three times per Encounter.
- Spend 2 Charge to switch form between Pain, Shelter, and Cure:
- Pain
- Longsword: Deal 5 damage to targets close to you.
- Blaster: Spend 2 Charge to fire a 3 damage blast within >75 feet of you. The blast damages enemies within a 6 foot radius.
- Shelter
- Shield: Defend yourself from attacks. This will retract after protecting you from 5 HP of damage. If this ability has already been retracted, it costs 3 Charge to reuse.
- Time Slow: While [Shield] is up, spend 2 Charge to slow all enemies within 15 feet outward from the shield.
- Cure
- IV: At the start of the attached character’s turn, consume 1 Charge to heal them for 1 HP. If they are already at full health, this ability does not consume Charge.
- Injection: Consume 2 charge to heal a character for 3 HP.
Sinker
(Active) - Fire a Sinker, aimed at a target (roughly the size and weight of a quarter). The sinker attempts to burrow into whatever surface it lands on.
(Passive) - Within 10 feet, you have an innate perception of exactly where the sinker is located, both direction and depth. Within 100 feet, you will be able to perceive direction for every sinker. You can create Sinkers at will, but you may only have one created at a time. Creating a new one will cause the previous one to vanish.
Sting
(Active) - Deals 1 damage to target enemy within melee range.
Sting
(Passive) - Deals 1 damage to target enemy within melee range whenever you take damage.
Sting
(Active) - Deals 2 damage to target enemy within melee range.

(Active) - Spend 4 Energy to fire a high-powered laser at target character within 25 feet, dealing 6 damage.
Incinerate
Annihilate.
(Active) - Spend 15 Energy to discharge an energy beam from your chest, with a guaranteed hit within 10 feet unless dodged and dealing damage equal to half of your Strength stat.
Huxley Backstory (2)
TWO-THOUSAND-NINE-HUNDRED AND NINETY-ONE
In a cold, dimly lit kitchen.
Chava opens a high cupboard, and reaches upwards. The coolness of the kitchen’s wood on bare feet is a wholly unpleasant experience, but wearing shoes inside seems improper, and any mess tracked in from a hard day of trying her hardest may make the floor need cleaning, which means more work. It’s probably best to keep some level of level of cleanliness, after all, since when she does become one of the greats, they may memorialize this entire building, or she may have journalists lining up at her door at a moments notice and any small look from the doorway into something improper may merely render her a bad tabloid article for the rest of time.
She picks up a box of cereal. The brand’s name doesn’t really stick out to her, but it does make her wonder if this, too, will be documented about her life. I mean, if they pick up on her in just a few days, someone will probably hack the cameras of store she pays at whilst the footage still exists and look at what she purchases. It’s a bit of an uncomfortable feeling, but it’s part of popularity, and she supposes the… “Oligarchical Monos” company would be grateful. Maybe they’d send her free cereal, which she’d never eat for the possibility of it being poisoned, but would thank them for anyway. It’d be good press, she thinks.
She starts pouring the cereal out into a bowl. After a few moments, the stream of weird looking black orbs ceases, which prompts her to peer into the box.
It’s now empty. She only has half a bowl of cereal.
Maybe this would make a good hero story, she thinks. Overcoming adversity, and hunger. For a split second, she considers if she should work on defrosting all of the hard to make meals, like the chicken she’s had in the freezer for the past four months, but she quickly writes off the idea from it being too much work. She sighs, pours milk (thank goodness for milk here being a local monopoly, so they don’t have to appear special via loud lettering advertising on the carton.) into her bowl, and sits down.
She eats her cereal. The popping reminds her of all the famous people she sees in ‘gangster’ movies. The sugar reminds her of all the people who get famous by acting sweet. Placing her bowl on the floor for a moment, the clanking between it and the spoon reminds her of the robots all the people over the media seem to be building.
The fact that she’s eating old cereal on the old couch this slum came with thinking about how so many people have so much more of her reminds her of her parents.
Her parents remind her of the world. The world reminds her of trying so hard and getting nothing.
She growls, stands up, and stalks off to her room. More plans. Maybe she’ll become a mathematician this time. Solve something nobody else has. Or an acrobat. Or a comedian. Or a-.
(original stats are 9 hp, 13 str, 5 agi, 5 int, 17 acc, 19 energy)
it depends how you interpret it
Jean is currently trapped on Kronar, so you haven’t completed that condition, but you also haven’t failed
(in terms of like, did you the player win, I’d say you roleplayed your character wonderfully and that’s really what the game is about anyways, but on a technical level you’re pretty much a loose end that hasn’t been clarified)
(additional note: Huxley is 19)
Kuri is very much going to try and recreate the ambrosia project btw
it would not tell any of you guys that but it very much will, and the “documentary” is mostly to fund it
pius better get a devil edit
Fun Fact! Jean didn’t need to decapitate himself to go through with the procedure, he just thought it would be more dramatic if he did.

Third time was just not the charm for our silly Jeans
had red coloured contacts for most of the game, but removed them when they stopped her from being able to have tears escape her eyes
Kary could totally do a rock guitar garage band with Huxley if circumstances made it more possible

Weight: 8.52 lb
"Eye" Color: Blue (by default)

Clothing (and accessories): Literally a radio, how do I answer this
Hair Color and Style: Technically bald, I guess.
Occupation: Engineer, blunt object, sentient radio
Backstory: Born in 2742, [REDACTED] grew up at the beginning of the first large boom in commercial space travel. Knowing that he would never live to fully see what would come of it, [REDACTED] looked into various means by which he could artificially extend his lifespan, with most paths he researched coming to a dead end. But one idea in particular caught his eye, uploading his consciousness into a mechanical vessel.
It had yet to be done successfully, but he knew there was promise in the idea. Taking initiative, he created a potential body for himself using a partially damaged radio, a few spare parts bought off of Anyware™, and a 3D printer. The first few iterations didn’t work properly, but after the 14th, he was able to upload his consciousness to it, but it wasn’t able to do much.
Over the course of the next few decades, [REDACTED] kept refining the design, only finalizing the design with model number 85.2 (don’t question the decimal). Over the years, he ironed out an immeasurable amount of bugs, added retractable arms and wheels, added a fair bit of firepower (within legal limits, technically), implemented quality of life features, and added additional functionality to the Radio, before booting it by hand for the final time on April 27th, 2790 at 12:25 (Galactic Standard Time), and sending the Radio on a ship to Centralia.
However, a crash landing caused notable damage to the Radio’s memory, notably corrupting his original name (not that his limited lexicon would be able to say it anyways) and erasing a fair chunk of his knowledge of his home planet, such as what system it was in and what it looked like from afar. Despite resurfacing in the year 2852 with a hazy memory of his identity and history, the Radio was able to use his skills to make a living as an Engineer. Even with that, he still felt empty, as if his fractured memories were burning a hole in his metaphorical heart.
However, upon reading of a trip to the Kronar system, the Radio instinctively felt that the trip could be the key to discovering his past and mending his broken memories.
Additional information: If none of it makes sense to you, you wouldn’t be the first.

Electric Charge
The system’s live, power’s on the rise! Plug in, boot up, stare at the start screen!
Passive - At the start of each turn, you automatically spend 1 Energy to regain 1 Health Point. This ability does not activate if your energy is less than (Current HP - 5) or if your HP is full.
Memory
The opposite of Deja vu is Jamais vu. It’s when something familiar seems strangely new.
(Passive) - You feel a strong sense of Deja vu during your expedition to Kronar, as if you’ve been here before. Though, your damaged memories make it tough to discern why this place feels so familiar.

Electric Charge
The system’s live, power’s on the rise! Plug in, boot up, stare at the start screen!
(Passive) - At the start of each turn, you automatically spend 1 Energy to regain up to 2 HP. This ability does not activate if your energy is <50% or if your HP is full.
Number Go Up
You must be be pretty dumb, for thinking some is enough, when you can add another one and make the number go up!
(Triggered) - When lowered below half health for the first time during your encounter, replenish your Energy and increase all stats except for HP by 2 for the remainder of the encounter
THE WORLD REVOLVING
Are you feeling alive? With catharsis or pride? […] The ante is up, and the cards are face-down. Sadly, it can’t be the other way 'round. […] And the faster the rise, the harder the fall.
(Passive) - At the beginning of your encounter, average the damage taken by all living players and split it evenly between all living players. If this would take a player below 3 HP, it sets their health to 3 HP instead.
BIG SHOT
LOCKED AND LOADED, CHARGING UP, PREPARING FOR A SHOCK.
(Active) - Spend 4 Energy to fire a high-powered laser at target character within 25 feet.
TENTH LEVEL LOCKDOWN
Broken Symmetry
(Passive) - After seeing a blueprint of your body, the revelation was too much to handle, which triggered an experimental “lockdown” protocol to deal with any immediate threats while allowing you to process the implications of the blueprint in the background, without interference. Upon defeat, the “lockdown” protocol will deactivate, restoring your control.
Obviously had to edit the last ability a bit as the means by which the encounter was begun changed over time (because believe it or not, I don’t think the Radio would’ve been willing to kill Huxley at that point in the game).
