some forms of eye issue that can be corrected by glasses can also be resolved with the spell Remove Blindness (or similar magical effects), even if they are not strictly speaking forms of blindness, but individuals might choose to go with glasses instead for any of several reasons (the most common one being “glasses are cheaper,” but there are also people with an actual preference not to magically correct their vision)
