fun Canary fact:

her current story having singing as a relaxation method wasn’t my original intent with her, but as I had the ability to have the levels in it, it gave her a bit more of a spark (and she kinda needed something to not go insane 24/7)

this isn’t entirely what she was doing in the caravan but it is what she was doing in the tavern. she probably won’t tend to do as much (and definitely won’t if she screws up here).

After she finishes the wizard song, the next request is for a love song about a human woman who falls in love with a selkie. The two of them ultimately come to truly love each other, and decide to stay together, but are impeded by the fact that if he stays on land for even one night longer, he will die (this is not actually how selkies work, the songwriter apparently took some artistic license). However, the two of them manage to perform a magic ritual to transform the woman into a selkie as well, and the two of them live happily beneath the waves together.

what the heck I was like “wow this sounds like the heather dale song” AND THEN IT WAS THE HEATHER DALE SONG? I did not expect to find this

the average half orc is 6 feet tall and I didn’t really think he’d have reason to be substantially different from the average

(my original phrasing was “Canary looks over Wanderer’s shoulder”. she is 5’7 and you’re a half orc, and she’d have to be taller than him to do it. so I edited it to be to the side because I was Pretty Sure he was taller)
