Nvm i wont spam thread w discobot commands
But id have one shot ur ass
(you can’t do stuff like that with disco)
I have 1d12+6 dmg with lucerne yeah it was over
i have 7 hp. any attack roll you make that beats my ac makes it over.
Its gonna be so funny when arete scales up the difficulties of fights coz we’re so many people and 3 people die on our first encounter
How do you have a dnd battles of a party of 7-9 people and have the monsters not be too weak and also not have players die immediately. That seems kinda not possible
Well, im fine with that. Your guys’ lives are sacrifices im willing to make
high hp enemies
Hm i suppose that could work
it’s more of a band-aid though
Options are:
- party of less than 9 ppl
- split the big party in two smaller parties
- deadly monsters and players dying
- custom rebalancing
Higher HP could work. Would increase the effort Aret needs to do, more than just copy pasting existing stats. Maybe it wont be a lot of extra effort, maybe it would be, dunno
Or could just like nerf our damage by some amount or idk
Since we wont be having a ton of combat it would probably be less bad than it would have been on pen and paper. And we could do some kind of semi-simultaneous combat instead of turn based, idk
if i had to deal with it (which i uhm. would really not like to) i’d probably make everyone weaker by removing skills and spells and stuff like that. and if i’m too lazy to do that i’d split the party in two in combat by giving them different focuses. but overall it’s. super undesirable.
i think if we do turn based combat with this game’s players we will spend weeks per encounter
Personally im a fan of this ngl xD but i get others might have joined for the RP and dont share my bloodlust
Also like dying and making a new character sounds fun
. Could keep the xp level of the previous character and just start stronger. And build a world where characters just die. People die when they are killed
Understood. I will use the Combat Casting feat to mitigate the odds of failure.
The scaling in pathfinder is pretty crazy (as opposed to dnd 5e). Late game pathfinder characters are basically demi-gods that can solo kill everything. This is also the case for the pathfinder computer games
Monsters scale very highly too. A late game monster could have an AC of 42
I’ve read of some campaign modules which allow for characters to grow beyond level 20. Now thats real power fantasy, legit DragonBall Z level of fights. I wish i could play this game irl
