i didnt know there’d be worldbuilding backstory (or like, so in-depth). i take it im supposed to integrate my character’s story in the worldbuilding? can i just be a guy coming from a small village and just cluelessly wandering around

your backstory is totally fine! the lore drop is There if people want it but your character doesn’t need to have any particular ties to it

my guy has an Extremely Open Ended quest that can probably be woven into whatever political intrigue shenanigans end up happening

as for character collaboration, I think ‘my character’s caravan picks you up’ is a really good justification for why your character is in the starting village if you’re from outside it

I’m plannimg on having Drakor do some stuff in a neighboring village beforehand and catch up later
I.e. gets picked by the caravan for an earlier leg of the journey and then reconnects later
