okay! My recommendation would be to decide on more specific details about what kind of entity your character made a pact with ā€“ a witch is kind of like a 5e warlock in that both of them draw their power from making some kind of pact/bargain with another creature, which is represented by their patron, but that can take a number of different forms. In your case, since you went with Trickery patron, the entity is probably going to involve trickery in some form, but there are a number of different forms that could take ā€“ for example, it could be a powerful fey creature in the forest that likes to play pranks on people, or a Chaotic outsider with similar vibes, or one thatā€™s more focused on trickery in the sense of subterfuge, but if you were looking for something more Concerning it could be (for example) some kind of Evil outsider that likes tricking people into doing things against their interests

(it doesnā€™t have to be tied directly to anything in the lore post if you donā€™t want it to be ā€“ my recommendation is to think of the lore post more like ā€˜here are some potential things to hook intoā€™ + ā€˜here is some broader information you may want to haveā€™, rather than ā€˜you Must have a Direct Tie to thisā€™)

My current idea is to be local witch in the starting village if that is possible to fit in.

Patron wise I thought it could be a bit more vague. but I was thinking of something along these lines.

You can definitely be a local witch in the starting village! From your description of what you had in mind, it sounds like the sort of thing the locals would Have Concerns about if they knew the full truth, but your character can also justā€¦ not be revealing the full truth to them

That was the idea, she is concerning but also who they go to if they want to hex someone or have questions about magic or superstition.
