Drakor brings down his falchion one final time, and with a thud, the boggard falls to the ground, unconscious and bleeding out.
…brings up his falchion?
you know what I mean
Boggard #2 is not pleased about situation! He had thought the humans would be easy prey, and that it would be easy to steal your weapons, food, and metal skin, but it turns out you’re just as bad a target for fighting as the metal-skin humans and humankin who ruined their last village! Maybe there’s a reason Priest-King Laa always used to say not to pick a fight with the metal-skins, but he’d figured that since only a few of you had the metal skins, it would be safe enough to be worth risking…
He wants to help his fellow boggard, and he definitely doesn’t want to lose his few remaining worldly possessions, but after seeing Drakor’s blow, he doesn’t see a great way to accomplish either of those things. He could croak at you, but what if you just ignore it? And he sure doesn’t want to end up on the wrong end of those pointy metal swords.
Seeing few other options, he flees into the thin cover of trees near the swamp.
Does your group attempt to pursue, or let him escape?
Wanderer would elect to try to help his fallen ally by channeling a bunch.
q: do you have selective channel
q2: if not, are you moving the fallen boggard out of range first
No
Wanderer, understanding how ranges work definitely, will move to a position where he is healing Drakor but not the Boggard
great! roll for healing

…Does the Boggard have loot?
Yes! Are you checking his body, the mud mounds, or both?
Go with ‘both, check the body first and make sure he won’t get sneak attacked by the one who ran away when checking the mounds’

Besides the javelin he unsuccessfully threw at Canary, he was also carrying a second javelin and a morningstar, as well as wearing boggard-sized leather armor. His morningstar is the typical bone-and-wood that boggards frequently use to avoid the risk of metal corroding in swamplands, but the javelins (unlikely to have been crafted personally by the boggards, given the make of the weapons and the fact that it’s fairly difficult to forge metal weaponry in a swamp) seem to have none of the usual signs of corrosion that you’d expect if they’d been using them for an extended period of time. If anything, the quality of the javelins is unusually good.
Searching the boggards’ mud mounds produces a rather confusing picture. Even putting aside the fact that it’s relatively uncommon (though not by any means unheard of) to find boggards even just this far north, their belongings are rather different from what’s typical. Both of them seem to have a few small jewelry items (most likely of dwarven make, based on the style), but apart from leather satchels they’re missing most of the ordinary tools boggards would normally have, even things as basic as stone or bone knives, which would be far more useful to them in their daily lives than random pieces of jewelry.
[you have acquired: 2x masterwork javelin, 1x morningstar, 1x boggard-sized leather armor, miscellaneous jewelry, 2x small leather satchels]
Seeing no purpose in chasing after the fleeing humanoid, Arius hops back into the caravan, and casts Prestidigitation continuously until everything is clean enough. ((At least, as clean as it can be, considering the ongoing rain would probably ‘wash’ the mud away in due time.))
He will also cast Prestidigitation on anyone else who boards the caravan.
are you all Continuing Onwards?
