He stares down at her body. “I fought side-by-side with her father, you know. Figured I’d do a favor for an old friend.”
Drakor nodded, but did not move.
(Is she wearing a dress with that pattern?)
Canary looks to where her second coin ricocheted off of the man’s windowsill, then to where the first hit Kamilla.
(she’s stable, but if you spend an hour on it and can hit a higher DC you can Treat Deadly Wounds)
Treat Deadly Wounds*
Requirement : You must expend two uses from a healer’s kit to perform this task. You take a –2 penalty on your check for each use from a healer’s kit that you lack .
When treating deadly wounds, you can restore hit points to a damaged creature. Treating deadly wounds restores 1 hit point per level of the creature. If you exceed the DC by 5 or more, add your Wisdom modifier (if positive) to this amount. A creature can only benefit from its deadly wounds being treated within 24 hours of being injured and never more than once per day.
She slowly puts the coin she held in her fingertips back into her pouch.
(Can we transport her safely without doing that?)
(not currently, she’s wearing the same pattern that Arius saw her wearing when he was in the forge, except minus the blacksmith’s apron for obvious reasons)
“‘s why she came here. Smart on her end. (beat) I get it. No judgement here. But we do gotta take her back.” He seems almost regretful?
(she won’t be injured just from moving her, but I guess technically if you got attacked on the road it might be a problem)
“You don’t have to do anything. You could say she got away.”
(He doesn’t sound like he seriously expects you to agree to that.)
(Hmm)
(If people are bold enough to attack a well srmed group of 4 i think our own lives would be in danger not just hers)
(What time is it in game)
late afternoon, call it ballpark 4 PM?
you would have trouble getting back to Granite Hill before evening, but you could go 1 village back no problem
“What did she tell you?” Drakor asked, turning to look up at him.
“I considered that. I very much did.”
“Said she’d been falsely accused of a crime. Brought up what happened to her brother.” He runs a hand through his hair, which is starting to grey. “But I don’t know if she was telling me the truth. I did wonder — if she hadn’t done anything, not even a misunderstanding, why not just offer to accept a truth spell?”
Drakor nodded. “I see.”
He looked again at Kamilla, then sighed. He looked… disappointed? Strange.
Drakor looked at the sky outside. “I don’t think I’m making it in time,” he said to himself.
He looked at Canary. “…you wouldn’t happen to know a message spell, would you?”
She shakes her head.
…She hasn’t spoken in the past five hours. She’s clearly not the most socially inclined person, but… that’s a little off.
The Wanderer cracks his knuckles. “The Messire she killed. I understand the man to have been investigating the Baron of these lands. You fought alongside her father. Is there a history there and could you tell me anything about the Baron stockpiling troops?”
He frowns. This is not a good thing to ask him. But still. “I don’t think it’s why she did it. I don’t know. Call it a follow-up on the last thing I spoke about with the dead man.”
