Arius steps onto the Grease, but stumbles and falls. He picks himself up, but it seems he’ll have to be quite careful in order to make progress.

Even with Zelsh’s attack missing, Grimple 1 looks pretty distressed at finding itself so close to the pointy end of his sword! It tucks its arms protectively around its body [Total Defense, +4 AC] and scuttles southwards.

But its defenses come to nothing; Zelsh swings his sword at it as it flees, and it falls to the ground.

You attempt to move south, but with all the grease covering the floor, it’s hard to keep your balance, and you start to slip. You manage to catch yourself and recover, but it’s clearly a difficult floor to walk across.
