Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.
Arius, too, is unable to hit the grimple, despite his best attempts.

Bugibugi brings down his lucerne hammer, spearing the grimple… but despite the grimple’s severe wounds, bringing it almost to the point of death, its fey nature allows it to resist the steel just enough to hang onto a shred of consciousness.

The grimple lashes out desperately at Zelsh, but it misses. Its monumental effort complete, its last scrap of energy slips away, and it falls unconscious to the ground.
congratulations! you have defeated the grimples!
(arete chose mercy…)
(it had 0 HP! that’s what happens when you take a standard action at 0 HP!)
Bugibugi jumps in the air from joy. He picks up his cold iron dagger from the floor and puts it back in his wrist sheathe. Then he sits on the floor to rest from the exhausting fight
“The two of ouu fought well. Zelsh is honored to fight alongside brave fighters like yourselves.” Zrlsh complimented his new friends.
Bugibugi beats his chest and does a V sign in response
((Thank goodness. I was wondering why Bugibugi wouldn’t have at least a +1 STR modifier.))
Arius sheathes his sword as well, and assesses the situation.
((…say Arete. #3 and #4 are confirmed unconscious, but what happened to #1 and #2? #1 fell to the ground, presumably unconscious, but isn’t #2 still “badly injured and bleeding out”?))
all the unconscious ones are bleeding out, everyone was doing lethal damage (some of them might have stabilized, to avoid slowing down combat even more I haven’t explicitly been rolling for that)
Arius looks back at the mess at the pantry, in particular at the place where magical grease had caused them to continuously trip and fall over.
(I should learn how to do that too.)
Unfortunately, he cannot learn magic mid-battle, as the process of learning spells take at least an hour. And that alone is if he is lucky enough to get a hang of the spell.
Arius reviews his actions during combat. He had failed spectacularly, even as a doorman. However, his orc companions seem to be in a happy mood, and this failure of a combatant would rather not diminish their beaming rays of positivity.
He heads towards the entrance, and says: “It’s alright now! These gremlins have been slain!”
