(also where would be an acceptable place to do the laundry.)

(You would generally do it outside, hauling water from the river, but you’d put the water into a large tub rather than washing clothing directly in the river. …Also, usually you’d let the clothing soak overnight before washing it? He didn’t say how to handle that, so possibly he’s just Being A Dick.)

Canary, a bit painfully, gathers up the laundry and all the various appliances she would need to clean clothes, and turns to head out.

(shortly after she would exit if she were to be stopped), Canary pulls over a massive tub to hold laundry in… painfully fills it and pulls it out of the water, and… puts all the clothes in the tub. And sits there.

Drakor slipped away from the magistrate’s wife and the militia, moving towards the general store.

The hooded man slipped inside the general store. He waited until it seemed that the shopkeeper had some spare time, then padded towards the counter.

If your father caught you falling asleep, he’d be very angry.

…Fortunately, he doesn’t seem to actually be paying close enough attention to your work to notice.

Wanderer goes to the tavern.

Drakor bowed. ā€œI apologize for missing our meeting yesterday. Urgent events compelled me to travel abroad, and I could not return in time.ā€

The tavern is rather chaotic at the moment — for whatever reason, Yamyra and her family are working doubly hard today. But you can easily find Bugibugi, along with Arius and Zelsh.

Convenient.

ā€œI wanted to discuss a future proposition with you, Bugibugi. Butā€¦ā€ He seems to hesitate when his gaze crosses Arius, but dismisses it. ā€œI believe the rest of you would also be interested. Follow me, I intend to also discuss this with Lionel.ā€

ā€œI was charging five bits to the yard, but I’ll mark it down to three for you!ā€

Wanderer goes to get Lionel.

(I believe he just knows Lionel’s location already)
