I am Considering reworking the perception/distance rules to allow people to see the moon make more physical sense on both sides, but at this time I have not done so
“We do have more people with us. We could convince them that we’re not worth the trouble.”
Canary takes a low and slow breath in. And out. And in. And out.
excuse you I have to cast a spell to be able to do that
(is there any cover if canary was to try and approach them from a distance of say maybe 120 feet?)
(there are enough trees to make stealth possible)
(but not enough to totally block sightlines, so you could still fuck it up if you rolled badly)
Canary slowly hops out of the car, mumbles something under her breath… and then moves in closer.
(going to try and solid snake my way within 120 feet of them, half speed.)

Drakor’s eyes narrowed. “Could work. Could also not.”
He began muttering to himself under his breath. “They have reach, but no range… a sling and co- no, but there’s four not two… no shields or ways to block them… they just have to play point defense… but what do they gain? We can outlast them…”
Well before you get to the point of being 120 feet away, the humans straighten up a bit, seemingly paying a bit more attention to their surroundings. When you stop moving, they visibly look you over, before one of them calls out to you: “Toll is one link!”
(you may attempt a perception check for additional information if you’d like)
Wanderer glances around, before noticing the MGS attempt.
“Oh for the love of…”
“I mean, most of us are armed. I do think intimidation favors us here.”
…“And worst case scenario, I put a little something extra in the mutagen today. Not tested yet and results would be helpful.”
(are we in earshot of this?)
