Drakor stayed on foot, but he rested his left hand on his dagger and kept his (loaded) sling in his right.
Once you’ve handed over the ““toll””, they move aside to let you pass, staying on guard in case of a sudden attack by your party, but none of them make the first move.
“Pleasure doing business with you,” says their leader, the woman on the opposite side of the bridge, as you leave. She’s got a bit of a smirk on her face, but like the others, she isn’t making any attempt to attack you.
Canary frowns, but keeps her head down. Considering the fact she has literally slung money at people before, the toll itself probably didn’t bother her.

No — with the exception of the halflings, all of them have visible scarring (the sort that looks like it came from a fight rather than from a whip or similar punishment), but each of them has two eyes.
