As Drakor instinctively attempted to cover his face, he managed to scrape his arm with the spring blade that he was still holding in his hand. It was not a deep scrape, but a small trickle of blood began trickling from his arm.
He dropped the weapon on the ground, hissing slightly.

Drakor waved him off. “If you could just point me in the direction of some bandages I’ll be fine.”
He looked at the spring blade on the ground, edge slightly bloodied. “As much as I’d love to keep perusing your collection, I think I’ll just take that one, if you don’t mind.”
“Uhm…”
…Oh no I did something bad and I distracted him and he doesn’t get to have a weapon he really wants.

Drakor is probably trying to distract someone from something. Given who’s in the room, he’s probably trying to divert the attention of the master-at-arms.
