(Wow Rika is really getting to show these noobs up with her awesome social deduction skills)
He rejoins the group.
“I have sorted sleeping arrangements.”
To Drakor. “Similar situation to the barn in quality. I don’t foresee any problem with that?”
The half-orc is very, very obviously lying. I mean, an itinerant blacksmith? Who in the world would try to carry a smithy around with them on their travels? He seems to have intended it as a joke, but he’s also changing the subject - somewhere earlier in your conversation lies a subject he does not particular want to stay on.
That said, his attempts to pry into your identity are genuine - he’s definitely trying to figure you out.
(is this happening during or after the conversation with Rika?)
I imagine that he didn’t spend particularly long inside the tavern (travel between is unclear how long, transaction was fairly quick, 18 seconds for the enhanced diplomacy ears of the city setup)
likely during?
(It’s not a very large village, I think the tavern is only a couple minutes away in each direction, so you can be present for the conversation if you want.)
(I would)
Is it possible for Wanderer to determine what this ‘Judgment’ might be with a k(Planes) check?
(of course, it could be something else. but the whole of the statement would parse to wanderer as ‘something likely lacking a mundane explanation’)
Sure

“Ah!” Paprika’s eyes snap open, and she points at Drakor. “There’s no such thing as an itinerant blacksmith! A smithy must stay in a fixed location. You’re lying.”
She seems quite seriously proud of herself for deducing this information, despite the joking intent: either she failed to notice or she failed to care.
“A ragtag adventuring party visits a baron, bringing a prisoner with them. They seem to be of rather low status…”
The stone on Paprika’s chest is quartz at best.
“…but find an audience with him nonetheless, and suddenly, they’re running off in another direction, with shiny new armor and weapons. This can only mean…”

(I dont even know if the rolling for intelligence re: putting things together is a Thing but it’s mostly for toleplay)
“You’ve been hired to do something, haven’t you?”
Paprika looks expectantly back at Drakor for a response. She is smiling brightly.
Wanderer shoots a glance to Drakor.
As you interact with him frequently, you can grasp that he’s asking for permission to take initiative in the conversation.
When people die, assuming there isn’t anything Weird going on (e.g. someone who sold their soul to Hell, or someone who became undead), they travel through the River of Souls to the Boneyard, where they are judged by Pharasma or the outsiders who serve her and sent to their ultimate place in the afterlife, generally corresponding to their alignment. Much information about how exactly this works is kept secret from mortals, but it’s generally believed that, while in most cases this is a fairly straightforward process, certain situations can lead to Judgment being a more complicated process, sometimes involving planar advocates.
(in context, the “he” presumably refers to “Erastil”, who indeed is not the one who presides over Judgment)
