Drakor raised an eyebrow, but pointed with his thumb at Wanderer. “Why don’t you ask him? I’m just a lowly caravan guard.”
You’re pretty sure he’s making a joke again, but he’s clearly uncomfortable.

You’re pretty sure he’s making a joke again, but he’s clearly uncomfortable.
“Oh? Do they not tell you who you’re serving?” Paprika ignores the gesture toward Wanderer moves slightly closer into Drakor’s personal space. “You’re just dumb muscle? I wouldn’t put up with that. Wouldn’t you want to know the truth?” For a moment, Paprika looks straight into Drakor’s eyes with another head tilt and an eyebrow slightly raised.
Then, she jumps back a bit, looking away a little with a more neutral expression. She seems slightly more self-aware than she did a moment ago.
“I don’t mean anything by it, of course,” she clarifies, speaking a little more as she did when she was first introducing herself. “I’m just curious what brings you to this town. If you’re investigating anything, I could help.”
(might I roll sense motive?)
Yea sure
12
It’s hard for Paprika to feel especially threatening, given she’s a couple inches short of five feet tall and visibly still a teenager.
(18)
(What do I do)
(tell me however much you think I would learn about Rika’s motives)
(IM THE ONLY ONE WHO ISNT FREAKISHLY TALL)
(I think it should actually be a 19 since I had studied target active, but idt it’s suuuper relevant considering this is a PC-PC interaction)
(we’re just going by the vibes anyways)
Physical Description : Half-orcs average around 6 feet tall
(genuinely don’t know what to tell you)
Paprika seems fairly genuine in her detective act and in her offer, though she’s definitely a strange person. It’s unclear exactly why she’s taken such an interest in the magistrate’s verdict, but maybe there isn’t so much to latch onto in this small town for a person like her.
Drakor relaxed slightly, but still maintained eye contact with the odd woman. “If you really would like to help, you should check with the boss,” he replied, tilting his head towards Wanderer. It was not a rejection or a deflection, but a mere statement of fact.
Paprika lets her gaze linger on Drakor for a moment as she tries to decide if she’s satisfied.
…After a moment, she turns to Wanderer, and returns to that previous slightly-uncomfortable formality. “Would you require any assistance in your task? I can provide quite a bit of help.”
Wanderer is studying the expressions of this new person.
Clearly, this Rika has a strange air to her. That much is apparent, but the nature of that strange air is unclear.
He finds himself thinking of that last vision on repeat, the one referencing Erastil and ‘some’ action that was taken by the father.
Is this what Kaver had to consider when he was making his decisions?
“Usually people want to join something for a reason. That reason is unclear, in your case.”
He crouches, looking off into the distance.
She is like him just up and asking to join Kaver on a whim. He lets the winds of intuition carry him.
“Why?”
“I’m curious.” Paprika pauses as if she intends to leave it at that. She briefly glances at the fabrics she’s holding, then in a direction over her shoulder, further into town.
“Not much happens here,” she adds.
“You want me on your side. I speak six languages.”
