After getting his result, he’ll head off toward the tavern and prepare for sleeping.

“…found his body this morning.”

“Righteous gods above, please tell me you’re not serious…”

“…can’t just abdicate his responsibilities to his family. His daughter is just a child…”

“…says he was murdered.”

“Well, of course she doesn’t want to believe her father would…”

“… kicked me out just for that, it’s ridiculous! We were betting bits to bits!”

“Well, no kidding, she thinks it’s anathema unto Abadar.”

“She’s not even a priestess!…”

“…you can look, but don’t do anything that might make it seem like you’re going to take an axe to it…”

“…but Mom, I don’t want to spend the whole night singing! Last solstice my throat was sore for a day!”

It might be a while before you’re able to get to sleep — the tavern is currently occupied by various people having long conversations as they eat and drink, and it would be hard to fall asleep considering the noise. (And even if you managed it, trying to sleep on the floor right now would put you at rather high risk of getting stepped on.)

As promised, Rika is there (unless May tells me that actually she was lying, in which case she isn’t).

Drakor slipped inside, leaning against the wall as he studied the room.

(are there any people in there who look like they could be trouble?)

In that case, he’ll interact with the people. Mainly chatting and storytelling about various stories during his time in the Worldwound.

(May is sleeping so Rika can be late if ppl want to do not-her things)

(If not then she can be there on time idc)

roll perception or sense motive (your choice)

People are enthusiastic about Worldwound stories! Specifically, they’re enthusiastic about Worldwound stories in which people managed to heroically defeat some demons without casualties, or occasionally with a small number of narratively-satisfying casualties. They aren’t so enthusiastic about stories that touch on terrible losses inflicted on the crusaders, or people dying of demonplague, or people dying of regular plague, or young idiots who decided that being a demon cultist sounded like a great idea, or patrolling through the snow in the middle of Kuthona and not even finding any demons…

He caps it off with a ‘rumor’ he’s heard (he’s wildly exaggerating) about a strange individual who seems to have mythic abilities.

They apparently showed up in Mendev recently and are winning fights left and right against the demons.
