[RP] Play-By-Post Pathfinder

“People only hide when they have something to be afraid of. If your talents are exactly as they seem, I’m sure you won’t mind…”

Paprika made several hand gestures and muttered something under her breath, then reached down and briefly grabbed the hem of Canary’s clothing.

Nothing visibly happened.

(Detect magic, see invisible, etc. reveal a glowing Rika M. signature.)

“Voices in my head.” I back away from her.

(She cast Detect Magic.)

Hearing the yelp, Drakor subtly turned his gaze towards Canary and Rika.

(Activating studied target on Rika)

(Lurking for now)

“Hm?” Paprika smiles brightly as she tilts her head again.

(Roll for spellcraft)

(…10. Embarrassing.)

Paprika didn’t quite catch the exact spell Canary cast, but she could figure out from context approximately was going on. “So, you’re admitting it. You use magic. Why aren’t you using it to rule over them? Why are you cowering in the corner?”

(I’m assuming Canary also identifies the sigil, which is what I actually was trying to roll for, not to contest; I’m fairly certain only you roll for spellcraft to determine my spells.)

(I was rolling to identify spell as it was being cast, which google dot gov said is spellcraft

Seeing the sigil just requires you successfully cast detect magic I think)

“I don’t. Use. Magic. I was just speaking.” …Besides her assumptions, I don’t really think she would actually figure it out. So. I’m just going to…

(I’m rolling to identify the spell.)

(Okie. Well it’s Arcane Sigil)

“Speaking to whom?” Paprika raised both eyebrows. “What are those voices telling you?”

(Where are you all in relation to the door?)

(well…)

“…'m. Sorry. I’ll. Uhm. Be back. Really soon.” I tell her.

I start to walk towards the door.

“Well, you just let me know if you ever need anything,” Paprika called after her loudly. “I’m always here to help.”

(Hey would you describe this as Paprika “failing to contradict” Canary’s meekness)

Canary exits the tavern/inn.
