(You’re not confident one way or the other whether he’s telling the truth.)

He flinches. “No need to apologize, miss. Can I get you anything else, or will this be all?”

I shake my head, and take my copy of the book on clerics, quickly hurrying out as… stoicly as I can look.

“Why? Are you looking to purchase?”

Paprika looked slightly irritated at being spoken at as if she were a common laborer — the thing she is — in public.

Too much like home.

(sense motive, specifically whether Drakor notices her irritation)

(would you prefer me to just assume the cleric book teaches Canary vaguely enough about clerics to understand them versus you doing another Entire Writeup (three times))

“Er, yes.” Drakor held out his hands disarmingly. Or at least, what he thought was disarmingly. He usually tried to have as many weapons on him as possible, so being disarmed was an unusual state of being. “Is this a bad time? I do not want to impose.”

(I’m happy to do another Entire Writeup! unless you don’t want a writeup)

(…Alright.)

Canary sits back down on her bench for a third time, and begins to read the book.

“You’re welcome and probably not.” Zelsh commented in a friendly tone. “You helped a lot too. Zelsh isn’t surd if Zelsh could’vr beaten him without your help.” Zelsh admitted.

(Okay.)

(This shouldve been 8 my whole campaign experiencenis ruined)

“Fine by Zelsh too.” Zelsh said with a nod of his hesd.

“Well, I did just say I’m currently busy with a project. It’s a week’s worth of work, about the level of detail of the dress I’m currently wearing.” Paprika gestures toward her own elaborately-ruffled pink dress. “It’ll be made of this wonderful green silk, though the pattern is much simpler than what I’m wearing, it lets the material stand out that much more — and the wearer, simpler is better when bringing out the eyes, and I’ll be giving her the necklace I’m wearing as soon as I pick up mine from the jeweler, it’s neutral enough a color that it would work fine…”

Drakor nodded as he listened to the description. “I did not mean for you to make it right away,” he clarified once she was done. “I’ve stored the fabric elsewhere and do not have it with me. But would you be willing to construct it later, once our…”

He glanced at the desk clerk. “…business is completed?”
