…well, the good news is, this is not the kind of attack where crits are relevant
Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help.
I take a deep breath, then slowly approach the counter and drop my voice to a whisper.
“The… that… the…”
I breathe in.
“That cloth.” I gesture towards the same one Drakor had… I think, anyway. It looks the same. “Do you… remember… who’s bought it. Like. Each person. Who has.”
“?”
leafia run
(I’ve been saying this!!!)
The closer spider launches webbing at Zelsh, and the sticky strands of webbing wrap around his legs and arms, slowing his movements. The other spider advances on him, stopping next to him.
Zelsh is Entangled:
The character is ensnared. Being entangled impedes movement, but does not entirely prevent it unless the bonds are anchored to an immobile object or tethered by an opposing force. An entangled creature moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity. An entangled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) or lose the spell.
He can escape the webbing with an Escape Artist check, or a Strength check:
An entangled creature can escape with a successful Escape Artist check or burst the web with a Strength check. Both are standard actions. Attempts to burst a web by those caught in it take a –4 penalty.
He can also keep attacking, just with the listed penalties, or take any other action that would normally be allowed.

for reference, Leafia, I applied the Entangled condition as a toggle to your character sheet, so it should account for the penalties automatically (apart from the -4 penalty for trying to burst the webbing)
(Okay and thanks.)
(and it’s your turn now – what would Zelsh like to do?)
Zelsh growled a bit in annoyance before trying to stab spider 1 with his sword. (( You apply strength to attack rolls right? ))
10
-2 as well.
(just to confirm, you’re taking a 5-foot step towards Spider 1, then attacking?)
also, yes, you generally apply strength to melee attack rolls (there are some exceptions, but none relevant to your character) – in this case you will have +4 to hit (+5 from strength, +1 from BAB, -2 from Entangled), or +3 if you power attack
(mechanics tangent: people disagree on whether you can take a 5-foot step while entangled, but I think by RAW you can probably)
(Yup. Going to power attack too.)
that comes out to 13 to hit, then
(Yup. Does that hit? )
You step towards the spider and swing your sword towards it, but the webbing makes it a glancing blow – it skitters off the spider’s hard exoskeleton.
(narrow miss)
(Darn. )
