(but if the red cube destroys whatever its on, then we can’t actually remove it after placing it)
You place the cube on d2. Then pull D.
…
Nothing happens.
(did it reset before I did that or)
“You pulling it towards D does nothing if its in the edge. Same with pushing A.”
yes
(oh god I’m going to need to make a manual on how red cube works)
“…”
The man is mildly upset, and thinks at this point a rock would do better.
Stop overcomplicating it.
“Forgive my stupid question, but if the red cube is already on the grid, and we want to move it somewhere else, is that two moves or one?”
“One to put it there. One to put it somewhere else.”
(oi I’m not talking in character can this man read thoughts)
I’m not the man.
“My question is, do we have to use up a move to remove the red cube before putting it elsewhere?” Santiago clarified, clearly confused by the puzzle and probably not solving it correctly.
“Nope.”
“Moving it is one move.”
Maybe you should try and ask him what the cube does. He seems to have a decent idea.
(I got it in 7 moves so clearly I’m doing something wrong)
(I probably have an unnecessary move somewhere)
“This is a sad display…”
“You know we got another one after this right?”
“The red cube stops a push or a pull on a square, stopping all the ones behind it aswell.”
“All right, let’s try this again…” mumbled Santiago, focusing on the levers.
“Red cube on A4.
Pull A.
Push 3.
Push 5.
Red cube on E1.
Push E.”
Satisified with his solution, he presented it to the mysterious man.
