Yeah, as a known and open fluffposter

We need a hell of a lot less fluffposters

If it helps, I’ve been lurking quite a bit this game too.
I’ll be like, ā€œHey, it’s 1:30 AM here; I’ll go sleep now,ā€ and then I’ll wake up at, like, 5 in the morning and check this and not post anything because I’m too looped out to even read what’s going on.

I used to be the biggest fluff hater on the planet. I used to tilt extremely bad, something I never did otherwise, at people who split their sentences into multiple messages. Unfortunately now my brain is significantly worse than it used to be and I struggle to put together that same paragraph-heavy playstyle that I used to. Plus, now I’m friends with everybody and have idle conversation in the thread.

I agree with the last paragraph, I like posts without replying often, I just don’t feel like talking, and I’m yet to rand mafia on fol (not this game either)

Tmi, omgus = mafia, lurking (via likes) are reads that could disappear and it would good

Same here (aside from the whole NK then rerand) ive never been wolf in any of the games ive played here, and honestly id end up playing like utter garbage if any of my nerdcord blood on the clocktower games are something to go off of.

I think TMI’s a real read, but it’s extremely context dependent. Having an acronym for it, for anything, really… turns it into a case of ā€œwhen all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nailā€. You reduce the read to just the letters ā€œTMIā€ instead of saying ā€œthis person kept expressing unnatural suspicion on a deepwolf without explanation and without really following up on itā€, or ā€œthis person felt overly doomery when we all thought we were voting out a confirmed wolfā€, or ā€œthis person has significantly more confident and clear-cut reads than they tend toā€. Those are all different things, and flatting them all into one single term allows people to just… not explain the behaviour they actually find suspicious. I think the same goes for ā€œOMGUSā€, ā€œlurkingā€, people don’t usually use it here but ā€œIIOAā€, the one Ivy invented, ā€œIJALGā€, which I hate with all my heart. Terminology is useful, but also can obscure your meaning in something as context-dependent as mafia.

I am honestly having a stroke trying to figure out what those acronyms mean, although im not sure if i want to know (aside from tmi, i know what that is at the very least)

What’s IJALG?

Yea

And i mostly meant tmi for obtaining townreads in the early game. ā€œHow are u townreading me? Im not towny. Tmi???ā€ Votes. This is just an eye roll from me

ā€œI’m Just A Little Guyā€. It refers to… two entirely separate things: pretending you’re bad at being scum and not threatening whatsoever and so nooo don’t vote me out, which I do all the time, and saying you’re bad at being town to avoid taking responsibility for your reads.

(i put a j here because i was genuinely worried about it being read as genuine but its also Very Funny)

I hate it so. Ivy knows this and will probably use it to piss me off. It will be very funny.
